About Doss

DOSS is building an Operations Cloud for the real world.

A modern, AI-native platform for physical product businesses to manage the flow of goods, dollars, and data in real time, across:

  • Procurement

  • Inventory

  • Orders

  • Fulfillment

  • Finance

Built to replace spreadsheet chaos and rigid, consultant-heavy ERPs. Fast time-to-value, adaptable as the business evolves.

Through our Adaptive Resource Platform (ARP) and unified operational data model, teams deploy quickly, automate workflows, and make changes without months of re-implementation.

We recently raised a $55M Series B, co-led by Madrona and Premji Invest. Participation from Intuit Ventures, Theory Ventures, General Catalyst, Contrary Capital, and Pathlight VC.

DOSS is trusted by fast-growing operators to run critical operations with speed, control, and confidence.

About the Role

We're looking for a Workplace Specialist to own the day-to-day environment that makes Doss worth showing up to. Doss is a 5-days-a-week, in-office company. We believe great work happens when people are in the same room, and our office experience should reflect that. You'll keep operations running smoothly, programs feeling intentional, and the office feeling like a place people actually want to be.

What You'll Do
  • Own daily workplace operations for our SOMA headquarters, including vendor coordination, facilities upkeep, supply management, and space readiness

  • Run our food & beverage program, including lunch 5 days a week and dinner when the team is working late

  • Manage vendor relationships and external service providers, holding partners accountable to quality and cost

  • Serve as the primary point of contact with building management, coordinating on maintenance requests, building access, safety and compliance requirements, and any facility-level issues that affect day-to-day operations

  • Plan and execute internal events and programming that build community and reflect Doss culture

  • Track workplace budgets, flag variances, and recommend operational improvements backed by data

  • Partner with IT, Finance, and People on cross-functional initiatives including office expansions, new hire onboarding logistics, and business continuity planning

  • Identify operational gaps before they become problems and bring solutions, not just status updates

What We're Looking For

Experience

  • 3–5 years in workplace, facilities, or hospitality operations

  • Demonstrated ownership of vendor programs, budgets, and day-to-day office operations

  • Experience working in a fast-moving, high-growth environment where the playbook changes frequently

Qualities

  • High ownership and follow-through: you close loops without being asked

  • Detail-oriented but not precious about it: you move fast and adapt

  • Warm, hospitality-first instincts: you care that people feel taken care of

  • Comfortable with ambiguity: you build structure where none exists

What You'll Get
  • Competitive salary + meaningful equity

  • 100% Coverage for individuals Premium medical, dental & vision coverage

  • 401(k), immediate eligibility

  • Lunch in-office 5 days/week (and dinner when needed)

  • Flexible/unlimited PTO

  • Commuter (BART/MUNI/CalTrain) and equipment stipends

  • Wellness & Fitness stipend

  • Generous parental leave

  • Relocation assistance available

  • In-office culture in San Francisco

What you need to know about the San Francisco Tech Scene

San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area attracts more startup funding than any other region in the world. Home to Stanford University and UC Berkeley, leading VC firms and several of the world’s most valuable companies, the Bay Area is the place to go for anyone looking to make it big in the tech industry. That said, San Francisco has a lot to offer beyond technology thanks to a thriving art and music scene, excellent food and a short drive to several of the country’s most beautiful recreational areas.

Key Facts About San Francisco Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 365,500; 13.9% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, fintech, consumer technology, software
  • Funding Landscape: $50.5 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Sequoia Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, Bessemer Venture Partners, Greylock Partners, Khosla Ventures, Kleiner Perkins
  • Research Centers and Universities: Stanford University; University of California, Berkeley; University of San Francisco; Santa Clara University; Ames Research Center; Center for AI Safety; California Institute for Regenerative Medicine
