About Bunkerhill
Our mission is to give American healthcare infinite capacity. We're doing that with our long-horizon AI agent that does clinical, operational, and administrative work across the entire health system.
We're at eight figures in revenue, growing 12x annualized. We work with two dozen health systems, and our contracts are typically multimillion-dollar. We've raised $55M from Khosla, Sequoia and Y Combinator.
Health systems have spent the last several years piloting point solutions for every problem. Each new solution requires a long procurement cycle, is expensive, and ends up existing in a silo. We're the first platform that can attack every problem - 6-8 weeks per new use case.
Our work has real human impact - catching the patients who slip through the cracks, solving access issues, and making sure clinicians can focus on the care that matters.
The role
We're hiring our founding GTM team - the people who'll build how Bunkerhill sells.
You'll own a book of some of the largest health systems in the country and drive each deal to signature: the strategy, the buying process and the close. You'll work closely with our VP of GTM, co-founder and CEO, Chief Clinical Officer and forward deployed engineering team, who build custom demos and deploy alongside customers.
This is as strategic as enterprise selling gets. Every deal is a top-down, multi-use-case platform sale with a true land and expand - most of our deals are multimillion-dollar. There's no playbook to inherit. You'll write it, and set the bar for everyone who joins after you.
What you'll do

  • Own your book. Decide where to focus, who to reach and how to get in the door - through intros, advisors, events and our network.

  • Run the deal. Lead discovery and the key meetings with use-case owners and service-line leaders, partner closely with our co-founder and CEO on executive conversations, and turn interest into a real buying process.

  • Stay in the driver's seat. Work with customers and our forward deployed team to land on the use cases that will win the account - and push back when a customer is heading somewhere that won't.

  • Quarterback the team. Pull in leadership, engineering and clinical experts at the right moments, with a clear goal and a clear ask.

  • Get it signed. Navigate committees, IT / security review, procurement and legal, and come to pricing and deal structure with a point of view.

  • Own the relationship after signature. Stay the commercial lead on your accounts - working with our forward deployed team as we deliver, and driving renewals and expansion as the account grows.

  • Build the playbook. Help define how we sell as we scale the team.

What you'll bring
We're open to two kinds of backgrounds:

  • Enterprise platform sellers whose customers each used the product differently, across many use cases.

  • Sellers who've sold new technology to health systems, ideally at a startup.

Either way, you'll need:

  • A track record of personally closing large, complex enterprise deals - ideally seven figures, multi-stakeholder, C-suite.

  • Sharp commercial judgment and clear writing. You can explain why a deal got stuck and what you did about it.

  • Ownership, intensity and a real hunger to win.

  • A genuine reason to want to work in healthcare.

Even better if you have

  • Been a founding or first seller at a startup.

  • Worked alongside forward deployed engineers or founders on strategic deals.

  • Started your career in investment banking or management consulting.

Location:
In person in San Francisco. Regular travel to customers.

What you need to know about the San Francisco Tech Scene

San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area attracts more startup funding than any other region in the world. Home to Stanford University and UC Berkeley, leading VC firms and several of the world’s most valuable companies, the Bay Area is the place to go for anyone looking to make it big in the tech industry. That said, San Francisco has a lot to offer beyond technology thanks to a thriving art and music scene, excellent food and a short drive to several of the country’s most beautiful recreational areas.

Key Facts About San Francisco Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 365,500; 13.9% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, fintech, consumer technology, software
  • Funding Landscape: $50.5 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Sequoia Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, Bessemer Venture Partners, Greylock Partners, Khosla Ventures, Kleiner Perkins
  • Research Centers and Universities: Stanford University; University of California, Berkeley; University of San Francisco; Santa Clara University; Ames Research Center; Center for AI Safety; California Institute for Regenerative Medicine
