About the Role:

NewsBreak is looking for a sales-driven Account Manager to enhance our Ad Platform team. This role involves converting existing sign-ups to paid advertisers, managing client onboarding, and identifying high-value opportunities for account management. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of sales strategies and the ability to provide data-driven account management.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively review and reach out to existing sign-ups to convert them into paid advertisers.
  • Handle all aspects of client onboarding, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Identify and pursue high-value opportunities for account management, distinguishing between potential managed accounts and self-service.
  • Provide proactive account management, continuously seeking ways to optimize advertiser performance and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the product team to provide feedback and contribute to scalable solutions.
  • Utilize knowledge of ad server technology and event tracking to troubleshoot and support clients effectively.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience in account management and/or client services roles in digital marketing or ad tech.
  • Proven track record of growing account revenue, developing custom media strategies, and managing product testing roadmaps.
  • Knowledge of the apps industry; experience working in or with apps companies is an advantage.
  •  Ability to prioritize and manage tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability in sales and converting leads into clients.
  • Familiarity with digital advertising platforms and ad server technologies.
  • Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is listed below. Pay may vary based on a number of factors including job-related skills, level, experience, geographic location and relevant education or training. At NewsBreak, we design our overall rewards package to attract top talents. Depending on the position, the role may also be eligible for discretionary bonus and options.
