Our client, a world leader in biotechnology and life sciences, is looking for an “Administrative Assistant II”.

Location: South San Francisco, CA
Rate: $32-$34/hr on W2 (DOE)
Job Duration: Long-term Contract (Possibility Of Extension)
Company Benefits: Medical, Paid Sick Leave, 401 (k)

Summary

The ideal candidate will have 5–10+ years of administrative experience, strong calendar-management skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience working with senior leaders in a fast-paced corporate, biotech, pharmaceutical, or life sciences environment.

Responsibilities include:
  • Manage complex calendars and scheduling for senior leaders.
  • Coordinate meetings, team events, conferences, and onsite/offsite activities.
  • Arrange domestic/international travel and conference attendance.
  • Process invoices, payments, and expense reports.
  • Manage communications and follow up on administrative activities.
  • Maintain tracking tools, databases, and departmental records.
  • Support projects and resolve administrative issues independently.
Requirements:
  • 5–10+ years of administrative experience.
  • Experience supporting senior-level leaders preferred.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Google Workspace experience preferred.
