Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design and architecture of AEM solutions, including components, templates, workflows, and integrations.

Collaborate with business stakeholders, UX designers, and development teams to define technical requirements and solution architecture.

Define and enforce AEM development standards, design patterns, and best practices.

Guide and mentor development teams on AEM implementation and technical issues.

Integrate AEM with third-party systems such as CRM, analytics, DAM, and marketing automation platforms.

Ensure AEM solutions are optimized for performance, scalability, and security.

Participate in code and architecture reviews to maintain high-quality deliverables.

Oversee migration and upgrade strategies for AEM environments (e.g., from AEM on-prem to AEM as a Cloud Service).

Support DevOps teams in setting up CI/CD pipelines for AEM deployments.

Stay current with Adobe’s evolving product roadmap and emerging digital experience technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

8+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in AEM architecture and implementation.

Strong expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (6.x / Cloud Service) — Sites, Assets, Workflows, OSGi, Sling Models, JCR, and Dispatcher.

Experience with Java, J2EE, RESTful APIs, and front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React/Angular preferred).

Proficiency with AEM DevOps processes — including build, deployment, and environment configuration.

Familiarity with Adobe Marketing Cloud products (Target, Analytics, Launch) and integration patterns.

Deep understanding of AEM security, caching, and performance optimization techniques.

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

Preferred Certifications:

Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) – AEM Sites Architect

Adobe Certified Professional – AEM DevOps Engineer (preferred but not mandatory)
Compensation, Benefits and Duration

Minimum Compensation: USD 72,000
Maximum Compensation: USD 252,000
Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role.
Medical, vision, and dental benefits, 401k retirement plan, variable pay/incentives, paid time off, and paid holidays are available for full time employees.
This position is available for independent contractors
