About Hike Medical

Hike Medical is building the operating system for device-based care. We run the entire path that turns a prescription into a device on a patient's body — the back office that gets the patient ready, the point of care where they're evaluated, and the lab that makes the device. One company, built only for orthotics, prosthetics, and DME.

It's a $100B market, and more than half of every dollar never reaches a patient. It's lost to administration, denials, mispricing, and rework — while the person who needs the device waits. That gap is the business, and we built the machine that closes it, across three connected products:

  • Hike Intelligence — AI agents that run the revenue cycle, reading every faxed referral, verifying eligibility, chasing documents, and building audit-ready cases before a human touches a keyboard.

  • Hike Clinical — point-of-care software that lets a clinician evaluate a patient on any phone, generate a Medicare-compliant note, and order the device, all in a single visit.

  • Hike Lab — our own 3D-printing factory, turning a scan into a custom, PDAC-approved device shipped in days, not weeks.

Insoles are the wedge. DME is the bridge. Bionics is the destination. Read the full vision at bionics2040.com.

We've stealthily raised $22M through Seed and Series A, backed by top-tier investors who backed companies like OpenAI, Anduril, and Mercury early. We run a fast, results-first, high-ownership culture out of our new SF Rincon Hill office. If you want to work at the frontier of AI, manufacturing, and healthcare, this is the place.

The Opportunity

As an Account Executive, you own the close. SDRs hand you qualified demos with O&P clinics, Podiatry practices, Physical Therapy centers, and independent DME providers — and you turn them into live, paying accounts.

These are high-value providers running on analog workflows, which means large deals that move fast. Your job is to run a compelling demo, build the business case, and land the first paid order—then set the account up to grow. You'll sell the platform, not a single product: leading with the pain a prospect feels most and framing the whole road behind it.

You'll:

  • Run the demo that closes. Take SDR-qualified meetings and run the live, sample-kit-led encounter—scan to compliant note to order—in front of the prospect. The physical device in their hands is your strongest close.

  • Own the full cycle. Lead discovery, multi-thread across owners, clinicians, and revenue leads, walk the order form, and land the first paid order.

  • Sell the platform, not a product. Position Hike Intelligence, Clinical, and Lab; diagnose the sharpest pain, land there, and name the expansion before you leave the room.

  • Forecast with discipline. Own an accurate pipeline in HubSpot and call your number with confidence.

  • Close the loop. Feed SDRs sharper qualification signals and hand off cleanly to Account Management at close.

What Excites Us

Closing clinical executives and clinic owners takes operator credibility and a tight process. We're not filling a seat—we're looking for legends who can carry a number and own a region. Specifically:

  • The strategic sales executive. 2–4 years of closing experience, ideally selling AI, software, or into complex or owner-operated businesses (medical, dental, SaaS, or similar). You run a process and you carry a quota without flinching.

  • Operator credibility. You can speak fluently about denials, reimbursement, and workflow—and earn the trust of a clinician and a revenue lead in the same call.

  • A natural closer. You know how to create urgency, handle objections, and ask for the order. You'd rather land a paid pilot than a free one.

  • High motor and high standards. You move fast, stay organized across a full pipeline, and hold the bar on deal quality.

What You'll Own
  • A quota. Closed-won accounts and first paid orders, month over month.

  • Demo-to-close conversion. Turning qualified meetings into paying providers.

  • Pipeline and forecast. A clean, accurate book in HubSpot, with a reliable call every week.

What You'll Get
  • Competitive compensation. Strong base ($120K–$200K) + uncapped commission, with a roughly 50/50 base/variable split ($250K–$350K OTE).

  • Meaningful equity. Real ownership in a high-growth startup backed by top VCs.

  • Accelerated growth. We reward A-players. Top closers move fast into senior and leadership roles—and are rewarded significantly for it.

  • Full benefits. Medical, dental, and vision coverage.

  • $15K relocation bonus. If you're moving to San Francisco.

  • The hub. Daily collaboration with Hike's founding team out of our SF Rincon Hill office.

  • And yes—free custom insoles. Your feet will thank you.
