Lead the development of Samba’s AI-native go-to-market infrastructure. Build multi-agent systems, MCP servers, RAG pipelines, evaluation frameworks, and Claude integrations across Salesforce, Gong, Slack, Snowflake, and advertising data. Create deal intelligence, seller automation, governed AI workflows, and enablement standards while reducing manual revenue operations work.

Samba connects the advertising industry. Today, a trillion dollars of media flows through platforms that don’t talk to each other, and each one measures its own results. We built the independent alternative: consented first-party data and AI that give the world’s biggest advertisers, publishers, and platforms one clear view across all of it.

The next era of advertising will run on AI agents, and those agents will need data they can trust. We’re building that foundation, and the agents that act on it. Join us and help build what the industry runs on.

About the Role
Most companies are experimenting with AI in go-to-market. Samba is building an AI-native revenue organization from scratch, and you lead that build. The signal exists in Gong, Salesforce, and Snowflake, but almost none reaches a seller. Claude is our primary platform; AI here is infrastructure, not a feature.

What You'll Do
  • Architect the GTM Stack: Design multi-agent systems connecting Salesforce, Gong, Slack, Snowflake, and Samba's TV data into real-time workflows, integrating AI services with internal systems in Python.
  • Build MCP Servers: Build and maintain Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers giving Claude governed, real-time access to live Salesforce records, Gong call data, and Samba viewership signals.
  • Ground Claude in Context: Create retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines and prompt libraries giving Claude governed context on Samba's products, prospects, pricing, and competitive landscape.
  • Run Real Evals: Run structured evals across production AI systems, building frameworks that catch drift and degraded tool use, A/B testing what moves pipeline, and monitoring production.
  • Own Claude Enablement: Be the internal authority on Claude across Revenue, setting MCP and prompt-engineering standards, writing documentation, and running enablement for sellers and operators.
  • Surface Deal Intelligence: Build systems that flag deal risk and renewal exposure, score accounts by conversion likelihood, draft outreach, and unify Gong, Salesforce, and viewership signals into one account view.
  • Remove Seller Friction: Identify the highest-friction points in go-to-market and eliminate them through automation, cutting manual data transfer and context-switching so sellers spend more time selling.

What You Bring
  • 3+ years in software, data, or revenue-operations engineering, having owned an AI or automation function rather than contributed to one, and delivered in a competitive market.
  • Production-level Python and/or JavaScript, hands-on LLM experience across prompt engineering, tool use, agentic workflows, and RAG, plus eval practice at scale: regression tests, drift monitoring, cost management.
  • Deep production-level Claude expertise across the API, structured outputs, tool use, agentic workflows, and system prompts, plus MCP servers against live systems and daily Claude Code use.
  • Hands-on Salesforce (SOQL, APIs, Flows) and a sales engagement platform, preferably Gong, plus Snowflake and dbt for querying and transforming data.
  • Genuine understanding of pipeline mechanics, including forecasting, deal inspection, pipeline hygiene, and account-based marketing (ABM), with an adtech, media measurement, or data-intelligence background a plus.
  • Preferred: Azure data services and API management, Power BI, Slack API automation (Bolt or similar), and LLM orchestration frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, or LangGraph.
  • Comfortable in both a command line and a boardroom, able to teach what you build; high-growth data or media company experience a plus.

What you need to know about the San Francisco Tech Scene

San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area attracts more startup funding than any other region in the world. Home to Stanford University and UC Berkeley, leading VC firms and several of the world’s most valuable companies, the Bay Area is the place to go for anyone looking to make it big in the tech industry. That said, San Francisco has a lot to offer beyond technology thanks to a thriving art and music scene, excellent food and a short drive to several of the country’s most beautiful recreational areas.

Key Facts About San Francisco Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 365,500; 13.9% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, fintech, consumer technology, software
  • Funding Landscape: $50.5 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Sequoia Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, Bessemer Venture Partners, Greylock Partners, Khosla Ventures, Kleiner Perkins
  • Research Centers and Universities: Stanford University; University of California, Berkeley; University of San Francisco; Santa Clara University; Ames Research Center; Center for AI Safety; California Institute for Regenerative Medicine
