JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a hands-on, technically strong Microsoft Copilot & AI Solutions Specialist to join our Enterprise Systems team. This role is focused on designing, building, and supporting AI-powered solutions across the Microsoft ecosystem, with an emphasis on Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure AI services, Power Platform, SharePoint, Teams, and related integrations.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys turning business ideas into working solutions. The right candidate can engage with stakeholders to understand a problem, quickly prototype a solution, refine it through testing and feedback, and help move it into production in a secure and supportable way. A key part of the role will be helping shape and deliver conversational AI, agent-based workflows, and intake/automation experiences that improve productivity and simplify how employees interact with enterprise services. This role requires a self-starter who can operate independently, navigate ambiguity, and rapidly iterate on solutions in a fast-evolving AI landscape.

While this role will participate in AI governance and review discussions, it is primarily a technical, delivery-focused role. We are looking for someone who can work effectively with Legal, Compliance, Cybersecurity, and Data Privacy teams, but whose strength is in building, integrating, troubleshooting, and operationalizing AI solutions. Familiarity with Microsoft Purview and data protection concepts is important to ensure AI solutions are implemented responsibly.

Success in this role means helping the organization adopt Microsoft AI capabilities in a practical, secure, and scalable way while delivering measurable business value.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

AI Solution Design & Delivery

  • Design, prototype, implement, and support AI-powered solutions using Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure AI services, Power Platform, and related Microsoft technologies

  • Design and implement Copilot Studio agents, including conversational flows, orchestration, and integration with enterprise data sources

  • Build conversational experiences, agents, and workflow automations that improve business processes and user productivity

  • Translate business problems and use cases into practical technical solutions, with a focus on usability, scalability, and supportability

  • Develop intake, routing, summarization, and knowledge-driven experiences that capture user needs and produce structured outputs for review or downstream processing

  • Configure and integrate AI solutions with platforms such as SharePoint, Teams, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Graph, ServiceNow, and other enterprise systems

  • Support proof-of-concepts, pilots, and production implementations, including setup, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and operational handoff

Microsoft Platform Engineering & Integration

  • Build and support integrations using APIs, connectors, Power Automate, and Microsoft Graph

  • Work across Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Teams, Entra ID, Power Platform, and Azure services to deliver connected AI solutions

  • Contribute to solution design patterns, reusable components, and technical standards for Microsoft-based AI solutions

  • Help establish practical support and monitoring approaches for AI solutions in production

  • Troubleshoot issues related to authentication, permissions, data access, connectors, and AI workflow behavior

AI Governance, Security, and Responsible Use

  • Partner with Legal, Compliance, Cybersecurity, Data Privacy, and Enterprise Architecture teams to ensure AI solutions align with company policies and risk expectations

  • Incorporate governance, guardrails, and data protection considerations into solution design, including appropriate use of Microsoft Purview, DLP, access controls, and information protection concepts

  • Evaluate proposed AI use cases for feasibility, platform fit, security considerations, and implementation approach

  • Help document solution designs, assumptions, risks, and recommended controls in a clear, business-friendly way

  • Support responsible AI practices by ensuring solutions are designed with transparency, appropriate human oversight, and secure handling of enterprise data

Enablement & Adoption

  • Act as a technical advisor to business and IT stakeholders on what Microsoft AI capabilities can and cannot do

  • Help teams identify and prioritize high-value use cases for Copilot, agents, and workflow automation

  • Create documentation, knowledge articles, runbooks, and training materials to support adoption and operational readiness

  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Stay current on Microsoft AI roadmap capabilities and evaluate how new features may be applied within the organization

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field

  • 3+ years of experience designing, implementing, or supporting enterprise technology solutions in Microsoft 365, Azure, Power Platform, automation, AI, or related areas

  • Hands-on experience with one or more of the following: Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure AI services, Azure OpenAI, Power Automate, Power Apps, or similar enterprise AI/automation platforms

  • Experience building or supporting integrations across enterprise platforms using APIs, connectors, workflow automation, or scripting

  • Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft ecosystem, including Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Teams, Entra ID, and related collaboration technologies

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Purview, DLP, data classification, or related governance/security capabilities as they apply to AI and enterprise data protection

  • Experience gathering requirements, translating business needs into technical solutions, and supporting solutions through testing and deployment

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to operate independently in ambiguous situations

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to business stakeholders

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience designing or deploying conversational agents, copilots, or AI-assisted workflow solutions in an enterprise environment

  • Experience with Azure AI Foundry, prompt design, grounding patterns, knowledge sources, or retrieval-based solution patterns

  • Scripting or development experience with PowerShell, Python, JavaScript, or C#

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Graph, app registrations, service principals, and authentication patterns used in enterprise integrations

  • Experience working in regulated, compliance-conscious, or security-sensitive environments

  • Exposure to AWS Bedrock, Claude, Gemini, or other enterprise AI platforms

  • Familiarity with generative AI tools for image and video creation (e.g., Adobe Firefly, Runway, or similar diffusion-based tools) and their application in business workflows

  • Experience creating technical documentation, training content, or operational runbooks

  • Microsoft certifications such as AI-900, AI-102, MS-102, PL-400, PL-600, or similar are a plus

The base compensation range for this position is $110,000 - $120,000 commensurate with experience.
