Role description:

We are looking for an Architect with a minimum of 7 years of experience, an out-of-the-box thinker with a talent for developing creative design ideas. The current role focuses on strong technical detailing abilities – construction administration experience being a plus. 

You will join our Architecture team in Arcadis Romania, part of Places Global Business Area. That's precisely what we do at Arcadis every single day, from industrial buildings to stations and residential to offices, our designs bring together beauty and performance, shaping the world around us for future generations. Drawing together the needs of form and function with the latest technological and environmental advancements, we can deliver solutions that leave a legacy for future generations.

Role accountabilities:

  • Deliver assigned architectural design tasks within agreed budget, schedule and quality targets, meeting client expectations.
  • Develop and contribute to design concepts and detailed design solutions across permit and technical phases.
  • Produce complete drawing packages (plans, elevations, details, schedules and specifications) in compliance with codes and project requirements.
  • Review own work to ensure quality, accuracy and compliance prior to submission.
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to successful project delivery.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture with a minimum of 7 years of professional design experience.
  • Proven experience in technical detailing (wood frame construction a plus).
  • Mandatory proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, with experience in TwinMotion or Enscape.
  • Strong design, graphic, presentation and written communication skills, with advanced English proficiency.
  • Ability to work independently and within teams, with interest in digital tools and process automation.
