Our client is a software company.

The role

Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Lead sizable, open-ended engineering efforts from early planning through launch, then keep those services dependable once live. The position blends hands-on construction, incident handling and, over time, guiding other engineers.

- Drive large projects from start to finish, including building test environments that mirror external web applications.

- Keep production reliable by responding to incidents and monitoring alerts.

- Expand job orchestration and cloud infrastructure as workload grows.

- Coach junior engineers working in your area of the product.

Requirements

What we're looking for

- 2 to 4 years of engineering experience.

- Has run live services in production from design through release, including after-hours incident duty.

- Works independently on sizable, open-ended efforts, moving them from initial scoping to launch.

- Solid grounding in server-side and cloud infrastructure work on AWS, spanning distributed architectures, workload scheduling and designing for scale.

- Prior experience at an infrastructure or developer tools company.

- An exceptional track record, such as rapid promotions or significant side projects.

Bonus points

- Experience with browser automation or LLM-based agents.

- Familiarity with AWS.

- Aspiration to eventually guide a product group and develop other developers.

- Degree in computer science from a highly ranked school is a plus, though candidates with an outstanding background may be considered without one.
