Everpure (NYSE: P) has evolved from storage pioneer to data platform, closing fiscal 2026 with $3.7 billion in revenue, its first billion-dollar quarter, and accelerating growth into FY27. Our strategic agenda spans the companies defining the next era of technology - hyperscalers, AI labs, the AI hardware supply chain, data platform providers, and the broader AI ecosystem.

This type of work—work that changes the world—is what the tech industry was founded on. So, if you're ready to seize the endless opportunities and leave your mark, come join us.

The Mission

The next generation of technology businesses doesn't follow traditional go-to-market models—and neither do we.

At Pure Storage, we're building an Emerging Business organization focused on accelerating new growth opportunities from incubation to scalable businesses. As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will identify, develop, and expand the strategic ecosystems that determine the success of our emerging technologies.

Your focus will be on the rapidly evolving AI infrastructure market, where AI-native companies, Neocloud providers, Hyperscalers, and strategic technology partners are reshaping how infrastructure is designed, purchased, and deployed. Rather than selling products, you will create the relationships, influence, and strategic initiatives that position Pure Storage as a foundational platform within these next-generation ecosystems.

Success in this role requires identifying opportunities before they become obvious, building executive-level relationships across the industry, influencing technology direction without direct authority, and creating repeatable business opportunities that can ultimately scale across the company.

This is a highly strategic role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys building new markets, and wants to help shape the future growth of Pure Storage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build Strategic Growth Ecosystems: Identify, develop, and expand strategic partner ecosystems that accelerate adoption of Pure Storage's AI solutions. Initially, this role will focus on FlashBlade//EXA and AI Native companies, Neocloud providers, Hyperscalers, and strategic technology partners.
  • Develop New Routes to Market: Create, execute and scale innovative go-to-market strategies that drive customer adoption and revenue through strategic partnerships, ecosystem influence, and commercial collaboration.
  • Shape the AI Infrastructure Ecosystem: Maintain a deep understanding of the rapidly evolving AI infrastructure landscape to identify the technologies, platforms, and partners that will shape the future of AI deployments. Recommend and cultivate strategic partnerships that create differentiated solutions, reference architectures, and pull-through opportunities for Pure Storage.
  • Represent the Voice of the Market: Continuously synthesize customer insights, competitive intelligence, and ecosystem trends into actionable recommendations that influence partnership priorities and long-term business investments.
  • Drive Platform & OEM Pull-Through: Develop strategic relationships with OEMs, infrastructure providers, and platform partners (e.g., Cisco, Supermicro, and others) to position Pure Storage as the preferred data platform within validated reference architectures, integrated solutions, and joint go-to-market offerings.
Requirements
  • 12+ years of leadership in Sales or Business Development within the storage, cloud, or AI infrastructure space.
  • The "AI Native" Rolodex: Existing relationships within the SF/NYC AI startup ecosystem and/or the Neocloud provider landscape.
  • Technical Fluency: Ability to discuss NVIDIA Blackwell architectures, RDMA/RoCE fabrics, and why metadata performance is critical for AI training loops.
  • Strategy over Volume: Proven ability to close high-impact, "lighthouse" deals that change market perception.
  • Deep Portfolio Knowledge: Familiarity with FlashBlade//S, FlashBlade//EXA, is a significant plus.
Qualifications
  • 12+ years of experience in Business Development, Strategic Partnerships, Product Strategy, or Sales within AI or related technology markets.
  • Demonstrated success developing strategic partnerships, joint solutions, ecosystem strategies, or new routes to market that resulted in business growth.
  • Track record of creating new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, or ecosystem initiatives from concept through execution.
  • Deep understanding of the AI infrastructure ecosystem, including AI platforms, cloud providers, GPU infrastructure, large-scale AI architectures, and the emerging partner landscape.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving environments, balancing long-term strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
