The role

Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Establish and run an outbound sales and partnerships function from scratch, recruiting and signing well-known individuals onto a consumer platform. The role starts as a hands-on individual contributor, with a path to building and leading a team as the business grows.

What you'll do

- Own the entire acquisition pipeline, from prospecting and outreach through pitching, closing and the first live experience.

- Design and scale multi-channel outbound programs using AI prospecting tools, social messaging, cold email and warm introductions.

- Grow a referral and partnership program that engages representation firms, networks and other channel partners.

- Negotiate tailored commercial agreements, including guarantees, revenue splits and exclusivity terms.

- Guide each newly signed partner through launch, coordinating promotion and setup before passing them to an account management team.

- Travel within the country at least once a month for industry events, in-person meetings and pitches.

- Shape the function over time and eventually hire and manage a team.

What we're looking for

- Around four to five years of hands-on selling or business development experience in a consumer-facing technology environment.

- A history of signing a high volume of deals with well-known individuals in entertainment, music or sports.

- Measurable revenue or volume growth, ideally from an early-stage business.

- Experience creating outbound sales processes from nothing, using phone, direct messages, email and face-to-face outreach.

- A persuasive, personable and quick-witted communication style.

- Based in San Francisco or willing to relocate there.

- Willingness to travel domestically at least once a month.

Bonus points

- An established network in music, sports or entertainment.
