Who we are:

Action1 is an autonomous patch management platform trusted by many Fortune 500 companies. Cloud-native, infinitely scalable, highly secure, and configurable in 5 minutes, it just works and is always free for the first 200 endpoints, with no functional limits. By pioneering autonomous OS and third-party application patching, Action1 helps organizations eliminate routine work, reduce ransomware and security risks, and protect the digital employee experience. It provides real-time vulnerability assessment and remediation across remote and on-site endpoints without requiring a VPN, while peer-to-peer patch distribution reduces bandwidth use on local networks.

In 2026, Action1 was recognized as the fastest-growing founder-led cybersecurity company in America on the Inc. 5000. Action1 is led by industry veterans Alex Vovk and Mike Walters, American entrepreneurs who founded Netwrix, which has grown into an industry-leading, multibillion-dollar cybersecurity company.

Introduction:

We’re looking for a phone-first BDR to create new pipeline for our endpoint management and patch management platform. You’ll prospect for IT and security leaders, open conversations around endpoint visibility, patching, vulnerability reduction, and operational efficiency, and book qualified meetings for the sales team.

This role is best suited to someone with SaaS outbound experience who is comfortable making cold calls and learning a technical product. Experience selling endpoint management, cybersecurity, IT operations, infrastructure, backup, RMM, or MSP solutions is a must-have skill

What you’ll do

  • Build pipeline through cold calling, email, LinkedIn, and account research
  • Prospect IT and security buyers, including CIOs, CISOs, IT directors and managers, security leaders, IT infrastructure leaders, and endpoint teams
  • Identify challenges involving patching, endpoint visibility, vulnerability exposure, manual IT processes, and device management
  • Run effective opening conversations and qualify potential opportunities
  • Partner closely with Account Executives on account strategy and meeting handoffs
  • Maintain accurate prospecting and qualification notes in Salesforce
  • Test messaging and help improve the outbound process as the team grows

Requirements

What we’re looking for

    • Experience selling endpoint management, patch management, vulnerability management, cybersecurity, RMM, IT operations, backup, disaster recovery, or infrastructure software
    • At least 6–12 months of B2B outbound experience in an SDR, BDR, inside sales, or new-business role
    • Experience prospecting IT or security buyers, such as CIOs, CISOs, IT directors, infrastructure leaders, security leaders, endpoint teams, or MSPs
    • Comfortable using cold calling as a primary pipeline-generation channel
    • Experience creating net-new pipeline rather than primarily managing inbound leads or existing accounts
    • Able to understand a technical product and communicate relevant business value to IT and security professionals
    • Strong discovery, objection-handling, and written communication skills
    • Self-directed and comfortable working in a growing environment where every process may not already be established

Benefits
  • A collaborative environment encouraging you to own your domain and implement best practices
  • Stable income, benefits, flexible working hours, and opportunities for promotion.
  • Friendly and professional peers, eager to help and help you grow.
  • A multitude of interesting challenges and opportunities.
