As a Business Development Representative at ZL Tech, you will be a part of a high-energy team focused on attracting new customers and partners. With extensive product and domain knowledge, Business Development Representatives communicate directly with decision makers to understand their unique needs and objectives.

Responsibilities

Driving demand and business development efforts resulting in new logos for ZL Tech. In this role, your overarching objective is to identify and initiate conversations with the upper management of the Fortune 1000 and Global 2000. In your business development pursuits, you will be responsible for creating meetings for ZL Tech’s sales organization and upper management. You will focus on identifying relationship targets, making connections, creating engagement, scheduling meetings, and originating qualified opportunities. In this role, you should expect these responsibilities to be part of your day-to-day schedule:

  • Maintaining a high-level of prospecting activities: 50 calls and 40 emails per day to key personnel up to, and including C-Level Executives
  • Originating leads, meetings and new qualified sales opportunities for the sales organization
  • Developing a solid understanding of ZL Tech’s solutions and become a trusted advisor to prospects
  • Building credibility with C-Level Executives to drive awareness and uncover business needs
  • Participate in company sponsored industry events
