Job Description

Under the direction of the IS Leadership Team, the Headquarters IS Business Office Lead will partner and collaborate with all levels of IS management and staff to ensure proper financial, inventory, procurement, contract, and asset management functions are performed in line with department and institutional standards and policies. The Business Office Lead will supervise staff that will perform department wide planning and analysis as well as serve as primary liaison for all competitive bidding, contract review, procurement, vendor management, and asset management activities The IS Business Office Lead will be responsible for the day to day operations of the IS Business Office ensuring department wide information is readily available for critical decision making, procurement justifications, and audit activities.

Key Responsiblities:

  • Oversees and coordinates IS Business Office to include Contracting, Procurement, Asset Management, and Budgeting functions in support of the Headquarter IS department and IS departments at SHC Sites.

  • Leads and drives the adoption of standard business practices and workflows across the department and with other SHC departments and SHC Sites as it pertains to Business Management functions             

  • Supervises, mentors, and develops staff to achieve departmental and professional goals

  • Participates in strategic sourcing, budgeting, and long-term planning where appropriate with a goal of optimizing our vendor relations and financial performance

  • Ensures IS agreements reflect SHC standard IS business terms.

  • Communicates effectively with key stakeholders, business owners, and Leadership, maintaining key internal and external customer relationships

Required Qualifications:

  • 5 or more years of experience in an institution with a large IS organization

  • 2 or more years of experience in a Team lead or Supervisor role in healthcare business environment focused on procurement and finance activities

  • 5 or more years of hands-on experience with IS contract review, negotiation and procurement activities

  • Bachelor's Degree

Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
