  • Research local market dynamics, housing trends, competitive activity, and barriers to entry to help determine expansion priorities.

  • Develop market-entry strategies for new target jurisdictions.

  • Build and maintain market intelligence on emerging opportunities throughout the Bay Area and other strategic markets.

  • Monitor demographic, economic, and housing trends that may influence future acquisition activity.

  • Act as an internal resource for market knowledge and strategic growth opportunities

Business Development & Relationship Building

  • Establish and maintain relationships with residential real estate agents, brokers, brokerage managers, investors, wholesalers, community stakeholders, and other market participants.

  • Serve as an ambassador for Aro Homes within both existing and emerging markets.

  • Create and execute outreach strategies designed to increase awareness of Aro Homes and its acquisition criteria.

  • Develop local networks that generate market intelligence and acquisition opportunities.

  • Attend broker tours, networking events, industry functions, community meetings, and real estate association events.

  • Build trust and credibility within target communities to position Aro Homes as a preferred buyer and long-term market participant.

Broker & Realtor Engagement

  • Develop relationships with top-producing agents and brokerage offices in target jurisdictions.

  • Identify key influencers and market leaders within local real estate communities.

  • Maintain regular communication with brokers regarding Aro Homes' acquisition strategy and market interests.

  • Generate referrals and introductions that create both on-market and off-market acquisition opportunities.

  • Track and cultivate relationships through consistent follow-up and engagement.

  • Gather market feedback and intelligence from broker networks to help inform acquisition strategy.

Opportunity Sourcing Support

  • Help expand the acquisition pipeline through relationship-driven sourcing efforts.

  • Identify emerging neighborhoods, ownership trends, and areas of future opportunity.

  • Support direct-to-owner, referral, and community-based sourcing initiatives.

  • Coordinate with the Acquisition Manager regarding market intelligence and potential opportunities.

  • Maintain databases of contacts, relationships, and market activity.

  • Assist in developing scalable processes for entering and establishing presence in new jurisdictions.

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • 3+ years of experience in business development, relationship management, real estate sales, brokerage, account management, market development, or a related field.

  • Exceptional networking and relationship-building skills.

  • Strong understanding of residential real estate markets and market dynamics.

  • Ability to identify opportunities, build partnerships, and create long-term business relationships.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Comfortable representing the company at networking events, meetings, and industry functions.

  • Highly organized, self-directed, and proactive.

  • Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to identify market trends and strategic opportunities.

  • Passion for real estate, housing, and market expansion.

What we prefer you bring:
