What You Will Do:

  • Support the execution of business development initiatives for the Technology practice by working closely with attorneys and internal teams on day-to-day marketing and client development needs.

  • Develop knowledge of legal marketing, including key practice areas, market trends, attorneys, and client priorities, and apply that knowledge to support client outreach and initiatives.

  • Provide operational and data support for client development efforts, including maintaining CRM data, managing client and prospect lists, tracking activities, and assisting with basic reporting.

  • Coordinate practice group meetings, internal communications, and follow-up actions to ensure consistent execution and information sharing across the team.

  • Support firm-hosted and firm-sponsored events and outreach initiatives, including invitation management, RSVP tracking, event logistics support, and post-event follow-up.

  • Gather and organize competitive intelligence and market research in collaboration with the marketing research team to support pitches, events, and client development activities.

  • Assist with maintaining organized files, templates, tools, and systems that support efficient and effective business development processes, and take on additional projects as needed to support team objectives.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s degree, with prior exposure to client development or marketing through internships, co-op programs, or entry-level roles strongly preferred. Experience in a law firm or professional services environment is a plus.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; comfort working with databases, reporting tools, and leveraging AI tools responsibly. Experience with Dynamics CRM is a plus.

  • Demonstrated interest in business development, marketing, or client relationship management.

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, track action items, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a professional demeanor and the ability to interact effectively with attorneys, business professionals, and external contacts at all levels.

  • Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and creative problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.

  • Comfortable working with data, reports, and dashboards to support analytics-driven business development efforts.

  • Experience supporting senior professionals or client-facing teams preferred.
