  • Report on content performance and production.

Strategy & coordination:

  • Serve as the hub for brand campaign packaging and amplification, including drafting and distributing amplification content from key assets (pitching briefs, email sequences, day-of and long tail social campaigns, landing pages, sales collateral, etc.)
  • Partner with leadership to establish social, PR, and comms strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Own the overall management of our narrative calendars and cadences, and establish protocols for flagging resourcing needs, scheduling conflicts, and messaging alignment.

AI influence and relationship building:

  • Increase Backblaze’s visibility and credibility in the AI ecosystem
  • Build meaningful relationships with builders, platforms, and influencers, including neoclouds, data suppliers and tooling platforms, dev communities, and founder communities.
  • Identify strategic co-marketing and partnership storytelling opportunities.
  • Serve as senior advisor to executives on external positioning.

Strategic comms leadership:

  • Own and execute PR and communications strategy aligned to AI Supply and AI Demand pillars.
  • Partner with content leadership to shape quarterly communications themes.
  • Lead PR agency strategy, briefings, and prioritization.

  • Monitor share of voice and competitive signal.
The Right Fit:
