About the Role

We are seeking a strategic and execution-oriented Content Marketing Manager to lead the development of high-impact content across the full customer journey—from awareness through conversion and retention. 

This role will sit at the intersection of content marketing and product marketing, owning the messaging and storytelling that communicates Archer Review’s value to prospective nursing and medical students. You will be responsible for scaling our content engine while also supporting website, lifecycle, and product-related content that drives clarity, engagement, and growth. 

As part of Archer Review’s Growth Marketing Team, you will report to our Director of Growth Marketing and collaborate closely with our Senior Social Media Manager, SEO Specialist, Performance Marketing Specialist and other internal nursing/medical thought leaders to bring our brand and product to life across channels. 

This is a fully remote position in the United States. The base salary will be $80,000-$85,000.


What you'll do

Content Strategy & Planning 

  • Develop and own a comprehensive content strategy aligned with growth, acquisition, and retention goals  
  • Build and manage an editorial calendar across blog, email, SMS, and web content  
  • Identify high-impact content opportunities through keyword research, audience insights, and competitive analysis  

Content Creation & Management 

  • Lead creation of high-quality, engaging content (blogs, guides, landing pages, email campaigns, SMS copy, video scripts, etc.)  
  • Partner with internal subject matter experts (nursing educators, clinicians) to translate complex topics into clear, compelling content for students  

 Product Marketing & Website Content 

  • Help refine website copy, including landing pages, product pages, and conversion flows  
  • Translate product features and updates into clear, benefit-driven messaging that resonates with students  
  • Support product launches and feature rollouts with compelling content and positioning  
  • Ensure consistency of voice, messaging, and value propositions across all customer touchpoints  

 Lifecycle Marketing (Email & SMS) 

  • Support lifecycle marketing initiatives by writing and optimizing email and SMS campaigns across the user journey (lead nurture, onboarding, engagement, retention, and reactivation)  
  • Partner with growth and lifecycle teams to develop messaging frameworks and campaign themes  
  • Optimize content for conversion, engagement, and retention metrics (open rate, CTR, activation, etc.)  
  • Contribute to testing strategies (A/B testing subject lines, messaging, timing, and formats) to improve performance  

 SEO & Organic Growth 

  • Partner with the SEO Specialist to execute on keyword strategy, on-page optimization, and content audits  
  • Create and optimize content to drive organic traffic, rankings, and conversions  
  • Continuously improve content performance through data-driven insights  

 Distribution & Cross-Channel Collaboration 

  • Collaborate with the Senior Social Media Manager to adapt and distribute content across social channels  
  • Support paid and lifecycle efforts by developing content that can be repurposed across campaigns  
  • Work cross-functionally with growth, product, and academic teams to align messaging and campaigns  

 Analytics & Optimization 

  • Track and report on content performance (traffic, engagement, conversion rates, lifecycle impact)  
  • Run experiments (A/B testing, messaging variations, content formats) to improve outcomes  
  • Continuously refine content strategy based on data and user behavior  


About you

  • 4+ years of experience in content marketing, with exposure to product marketing and/or lifecycle marketing  
  • Proven track record of driving measurable growth through content (SEO, conversion, email/SMS, or lifecycle)  
  • Strong ability to translate product features into clear, compelling value propositions  
  • Experience writing high-performing email and/or SMS campaigns  
  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills across formats (long-form, short-form, web, lifecycle)  
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with product, growth, and subject matter experts  
  • Familiarity with SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush), analytics platforms (GA, Search Console), and CRM/marketing automation tools  
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment  

 Bonus Points

  • Experience in ed-tech, healthcare, or test prep  
  • Background in product marketing or conversion-focused copywriting  
  • Experience with lifecycle marketing platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Brevo, etc.)  
  • Experience working with subject matter experts or technical content
