Owns lead and hotel account data quality for a sales organization. Responsibilities include CRM audits, deduplication, enrichment, lead qualification, routing, SLA development, escalation resolution, data workflow documentation, vendor evaluation, SQL-based validation, and responsible use of AI for quality assurance and anomaly detection.
About the Role
The Data Operations Analyst owns lead and account data quality for a hotel-focused sales organization. You'll make sure every prospect that reaches a sales rep is accurate, deduplicated, enriched, and qualified. You'll lead CRM data audits and cleanup, resolve escalations about missing or misrouted leads, and build the qualification processes and SLAs that give the sales team confidence in every lead they're assigned. The role combines technical depth with business judgment.
Key Responsibilities- Make sure leads and accounts entering the pipeline from all source systems are accurate and deduplicated before they reach sales reps.
- Set and keep refining lead qualification standards, and make sure each lead is routed to the right rep, whether the business assigned it or the rep sourced it.
- Own the health of hotel account data in the CRM: clean up duplicate or broken records and keep account structures sound as they interact with other parts of the business.
- Act as the go-to contact when a rep hits a data problem, such as a missing lead, a bad match, or a data error. Fix the underlying process, not just the single ticket.
- Identify where AI genuinely speeds up data QA, enrichment, or anomaly detection, and hold any AI you deploy to measurable standards, such as false-positive rates.
- Build and document scalable data workflows.
Required
- 5-6+ years of experience in data operations or go-to-market (GTM) engineering.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce or a comparable CRM, including account structuring, deduplication, field mapping, and data cleanup.
- Strong data-quality instincts: you can navigate complex, imperfect data structures, find and fix inconsistencies, and connect business use cases back to data pipelines.
- Experience designing or refining lead qualification criteria and SLAs.
- Demonstrated experience sourcing or evaluating third-party data vendors and enrichment tools.
- Strong SQL skills for validating data, investigating anomalies, and pulling ad hoc analysis.
- Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills.
- Experience using AI tools (for example, Claude Code) to build lightweight internal processes.
- Clear, proactive communication, with comfort partnering directly with sales reps and sales leadership on escalations.
- A process-oriented mindset.
Preferred
- Experience in a B2B or marketplace environment.
- Python skills.
- Start date: November 17, 2026
- Duration: Approximately 12 months (through November 12, 2027)
- Location: Remote (within the U.S.)
- Work schedule: 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day, 5 days per week
- Pay rate range: $60-$75/hour + benefits
- Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Engagement: W-2 Contract
