We are looking for a motivated Deal Desk Analyst to join our team and support the execution of deals across various customer segments.

Job Summary

The Deal Desk Analyst plays a critical role in the sales cycle by supporting the structuring, pricing, and approval of complex B2B SaaS deals. This role ensures deals are financially sound, comply with company policies, and align with our strategic objectives. You will work closely with Sales, Finance, Legal, and various other groups to facilitate deal execution, optimize pricing strategies, and improve overall sales efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deal Structuring & Review: Partner with sales representatives to structure and review deal proposals for enterprise and mid-market customers, ensuring they align with company policies and revenue recognition standards.
  • Pricing & Discounting Analysis: Analyze pricing and discounting strategies to ensure competitiveness while maintaining profitability and compliance with internal guidelines.
  • Approval Management: Complete Deal Desk approvals and liaise with the sales team to obtain other approvals from other cross functional groups as necessary.
  • Process Optimization: Identify and implement improvements to the deal desk processes, including automation and efficiency initiatives.
  • Sales Enablement & Training: Provide guidance and training to the sales team on pricing, discounting policies, deal structuring, and best practices.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Track and analyze deal trends, pricing effectiveness, and sales performance metrics to support strategic decision-making.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various cross functional groups on day to day operations and long-term projects.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a deal desk, sales, sales operations, finance, or revenue operations role, preferably in a SaaS or B2B technology company.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Salesforce (or other CRM systems), CPQ tools, and Excel.
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of SaaS business models, pricing strategies, and contract structures.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Process Improvement Mindset: Experience in optimizing deal processes and leveraging automation tools is a plus.
  • Willingness to work PST business hours: This role will be providing support during PST business hours.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition principles.
  • Familiarity with enterprise procurement processes and commercial contract terms.
