The Role You Could Play

We’re looking for a detail-driven and collaborative Demand Planner to join our dynamic Supply team at MECCA. In this 18-month contract, you’ll play a key part in driving a world-class demand planning function that connects our brands to their sales targets and our customers to their favourite products across our omnichannel network.

You’ll take ownership of the demand planning process within the MECCA Planning Cycle (MPC) — collaborating across internal and external teams to achieve exceptional forecast accuracy, strengthen planning processes, and ensure the right products are available at the right time.

In this role, you will:

  • Drive continuous improvement in demand forecasting to achieve accuracy and customer availability targets.

  • Collaborate across teams to deliver robust sales forecasts and manage demand through product lifecycles.

  • Lead demand reviews and build consensus across stakeholders.

  • Champion data accuracy and system optimisation within Just Enough (JE) and related planning tools.

  • Work closely with Supply, Merchandise, and Brand teams to support inventory and supply planning decisions.

What You Will Bring

You’re an analytical thinker with a strong eye for detail and a passion for driving results through collaboration and data. You balance autonomy with teamwork, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have a genuine “can-do” approach.

You’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or a related field.

  • 3+ years’ experience in planning, merchandise management or supply chain within retail or FMCG.

  • Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel capability.

  • Knowledge of merchandise management and/or supply chain systems.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a customer-first mindset.

Your Life At MECCA

Whilst we are singularly focused on our #CustomerFirst mantra, we know that wouldn’t be possible without an incredible team that is guided by our MECCA values and motivated each and every day to be solutions focused, innovative, collaborative and adaptable, and have a bit of fun along the way!

Some of our other team member benefits include:

  • Professional development programs and first-class digitised learning offering

  • Health and well-being initiatives

  • Reward and recognition programs

  • Access to bonus and incentive programs

  • Access to quarterly product allowance

  • Generous discount to spoil yourselves and your immediate family, as well as a generous product allowance, subject to company policy.

There are also so many other ways in which you’ll be made to feel part of the MECCA story as we love to celebrate, surprise and delight our team along the way.
