About the company

Our client is a fast-growing software company.

The role

Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Own customer implementations from the close of the sale through launch, acting as the link between client executives and internal engineers. Combine strong stakeholder communication with enough technical depth to shape requirements, configure solutions and keep projects moving. Also support the sales team on late-stage opportunities.

What you'll do

- Lead several client implementations at once, from post-sale planning through go-live, as the main point of contact for senior stakeholders.

- Work with client teams on system architecture, data models and workflow design in complex organizations.

- Turn ambiguous client circumstances into clear, structured execution plans for engineers and executives alike.

- Configure parts of the software solution and convert customer needs into well-defined engineering requirements.

- Partner with sales on late-stage deals to help define scope and identify opportunities for expansion.

Requirements

What we're looking for

- Around 3 to 5 years in a client-facing role.

- Evidence of strong client-facing communication, such as top-tier consulting, paired with evidence of technical aptitude, such as a software engineering internship or technical role.

- Early-stage startup experience.

- Exceptional communication skills with senior stakeholders, including genuine enjoyment of it, as this will make up most of the role.

- Ability to translate customer needs into technical requirements and earn credibility with technical customer counterparts.

- Light coding experience, for example a bootcamp or one to two software engineering internships.

- Comfort working alongside non-technical customers.

- Living in San Francisco or ready to move there, since the job is done fully in the office.

Bonus points

- A background on a deployment or solutions team at a well-regarded technology employer.

- A degree in a technical discipline such as computer science, particularly helpful for candidates with less hands-on technical history.
