Job Summary (Job Brief)

The Commercial DACA/Blocked Accounts Sr Product Manager is primarily responsible for all aspects of the DACA product experience, including product planning and discovery, product profitability, CX development, strategic direction, risk management and product operation.  The Product Manager also provides guidance related to asset based lending (ABL) account & product structures.  As a key contributor on the team, this individual will also work with other Product and Pricing Managers to drive forward initiatives and accelerate progress towards Key’s strategic initiatives by demonstrating product expertise, thought leadership, market support, client experience and partnering.  
 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • The Commercial DACA Sr Product Manager will be responsible for all facets of KeyBank’s Commercial Deposit Account Control Agreement program, which includes solution consulting, onboarding, agreement language, billing, servicing and risk reviews.
  • The Commercial DACA Sr Product Manager will be responsible for leading a team of DACA associates including hiring, training, developing, and conducting performance management.
  • Continue to Enhance the overall onboarding and account servicing experience.
  • Take a leadership role in the evolution of KeyBank’s Commercial Liquidity positioning
  • Support Ad-hoc research and resolution of daily issues, data requests, reporting requirements, finding remediation as well as regulatory requests.
  • Partner with internal technology, 3rd party vendors, and other strategic partners to develop new client solutions.
  • Deliver training internally and externally to convey an understanding of the products, their usage and functionality. 
  • Support the sales force in selling the products and articulating the benefits to clients.
  • May serve as a Project Manager on product-related initiatives across various channels. Lead cross functional teams to ensure timely delivery of product management projects.
  • Enhance systematic reconciliation, better data for better control and efficiency.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes and buying behavior patterns.
  • Responsible for the strategic design and development of new product portfolios and services that meet a client need
  • Responsible for monitoring and reporting out daily, weekly, and monthly acquisition performance trends
  • Responsible for understanding market conditions, the regulatory landscape and making recommendations for change as appropriate to internal and external conditions
  • Accountable for the compliance and legality of all product portfolio offerings and effectiveness of distribution and delivery
  • Consult with business leaders and management to obtain buy-in and input on recommended innovations and product portfolio enhancements
  • Accountable for scanning the competitive landscape, keeping a pulse on the competition with noted gaps, strengths, weaknesses and forecasting industry trends
  • Accountable for forecasting accuracy, performance measurement and monitoring, and overall client experience and impacts

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Business (Accounting, Finance, Economics) ; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience of product management or product development
  • Experience with Deposit Account Control Agreements/ Blocked Accounts
  • A drive to create, dig into, and use data and insights to identify opportunities to improve speed, quality, efficiency, and customer experience
  • Proficient in Excel; VLOOKUP’s, Pivot Tables, and ability to summarize large data sets into tables and digested, etc. 
  • Must be able to create and conduct executive level presentations, present at industry venues, and interface with clients.
  • Ability to work with all levels of Third-Party provider stakeholders and contacts
  • Dedicated to meeting the expectations of clients.
  • Ability to identify inefficient processes, recommend solutions, and manage implementation.
  • An ability to champion change, influence others, and foster teamwork.
  • Proficiency with PCs and standard Microsoft Office software.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to manage issues/programs and conduct detailed analysis of varying complexity, solve problems and drive business goals
  • Proven track record of identifying product gaps and representing client and business requirements to assist in prioritizing product development
  • Must have experience of analyzing complex information from variety of sources
  • Must be able to create and conduct internal and external stakeholder presentations, and clients as appropriate.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to forecast.  Excellent problem solving and quantitative skills.   
  • An ability to champion change, influence others, and foster teamwork.

Key has implemented a role-based Mobile by Design approach to our employee workspaces, dedicating space to those whose roles require specific workspaces, while providing flexible options for roles which are less dependent on assigned workspaces and can be performed effectively in a mobile environment.  As a result, this role may be mobile or home based, which means you may work either at a home office or in a Key facility to perform your job duties.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $96,000.00 - $181,000.00 annually. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for incentive compensation which may include production, commission, and/or discretionary incentives.
