NOTE: This role is hybrid and requires 3 days a week in our Walnut Creek, CA office.

The Digital Media Analyst will be responsible for tracking and interpreting program analysis across our digital channels. This includes, but is not limited to paid search (SEM), email marketing, SMS, mobile, paid social, SEO, app, programmatic, website, and CTV. This role will advance the use of digital analytics within the organization and work hand-in-hand with the digital marketing, product management, product marketing, and other teams to provide a comprehensive view of campaign analytics across all lines of business.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Campaign/Marketing Reporting
    • Create and interpret program analysis and reporting (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, ad-hoc).
    • Develop and maintain internal facing dashboards.
    • Provide subject matter expertise on web analytics, user experience and behavior, data analysis and reporting.
    • Create data-driven insights about visitor behavior from website data on traffic patterns, order volume, conversion, navigation behavior, product selections, etc.
    • Identify opportunities for efficiencies in processes (i.e. automation).
    • Deliver online and digital reporting to executive management and internal teams as it relates to budget, campaign performance and testing results.
    • Collaborate with external partners, such as agencies, to assist with data collection and reporting.
  • Insights & Solutions
    • Provides recommendations and solutions for campaign efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Provides meaningful insights that enable tangible improvements and inform strategic decisions.

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES

  • The right candidate is intellectually curious, highly collaborative, and has a bias toward action.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to turn complex data into actionable insights.
  • Knowledge of online ad serving platforms, such as Google Campaign Manager, DoubleClick, Flashtalking or Sizmek, and online ad networks such as Microsoft, Meta, TikTok, Reddit, Google, Yelp, Pinterest, etc.
  • Technical knowledge of databases, data warehousing, and data tools are desirable. Experience with BigQuery/SQL preferred.
  • Intermediate skills in Tableau, GA4, and/or Looker required.
  • Proficiency in the Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite and Apple Productivity Apps (Pages, Keynote & Numbers).
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented mindset, focused on driving results and analyzing data to gain insights and opportunities for growth.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

EDUCATION, COMPETENCIES, CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES

  • Minimum Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree preferably in Mathematics, Statistics or other relevant field, or the equivalent experience.
    • 5 years of experience at a digital agency and/or consulting firm, and/or corporate online marketing department and/or software provider in an analytical capacity; including 2 years of experience in web analytics using Google Analytics and paid media reporting using Tableau, Lookier, and/or GBQ.
  • Preferred Qualifications
    • Experience developing measurement and reporting methodologies for Paid Search, SEO, Display, and Paid Social Media campaigns.

We target between minimum and midpoint of the range, and all offers are subject to a fair pay analysis - Compensation Range: Min: $110,387.00 - Mid: $137,983.00- Max: $165,580.00
