JOB DESCRIPTION
This role supports Global Business Transformation, focusing on the development, testing, and implementation of technology-driven solutions that improve business processes and enable global initiatives. The Business Analyst acts as a subject matter expert, driving requirements alignment across business units and proactively recommending innovative technology solutions. The role identifies process gaps through data-driven analysis, translates business needs into clear requirements, and ensures successful delivery through strong governance, testing, and stakeholder communication.Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end requirements definition for Business transformation initiatives, aligning stakeholders across Finance, IT, Security, Compliance, and Operations and ensuring clear traceability from business need to solution design.
  • Own high-quality deliverables (BRDs/FRDs, process maps, functional designs, user stories, acceptance criteria, control impacts), setting documentation standards and mentoring others on best practices.
  • Conduct process and data analysis to identify root causes, risks, and optimization opportunities; define measurable outcomes and KPIs to validate benefits realization.
  • Evaluate solution options and recommend scalable designs, including low-code/no-code approaches (e.g., Power Platform) and automation patterns that reduce manual work and improve cycle time and controls.
  • Design and prototype digital enablement solutions using Generative AI and Microsoft Copilot capabilities (including Copilot Studio and AI Agents), defining use cases, prompts, guardrails, and adoption considerations.
  • Plan and lead workshops, working sessions, and product demos; translate complex concepts into executive-ready insights, decisions, and tradeoffs.
  • Drive testing strategy and execution (test scenarios/scripts, UAT coordination, defect triage), partnering with technical teams to validate quality, usability, and compliance requirements.
  • Manage the demand and delivery backlog (JIRA/ServiceNow or equivalent): prioritize, write and refine user stories, manage dependencies, and ensure timely resolution of defects and change requests.
  • Provide ongoing support and continuous improvement: monitor performance, investigate issues using analytics, recommend enhancements, and communicate status and outcomes to stakeholders.
  • Build strong partnerships and influence decision-making across levels, proactively managing risks, aligning interdependencies, and supporting roadmaps for digital transformation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in business analysis, systems enablement, and/or process transformation (Global Shared Services experience preferred; P2P exposure is a plus).
  • Excellent communication skills in English (B2+ or higher) and ability to collaborate across functions and geographies.
  • Proven ability to lead requirements discovery through delivery: BRDs/FRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, functional designs, and documentation standards.
  • Strong process and data analysis skills (root cause analysis, KPI definition, benefits tracking); ability to translate insights into decisions and actionable roadmaps.
  • Experience supporting testing/UAT (test scenarios, defect triage, release readiness) and working with agile or hybrid delivery teams (JIRA/Smartsheet/ServiceNow or similar).
  • Hands-on exposure to low-code/no-code technologies (e.g., Power Automate, Power Apps, Alteryx) and automation patterns to reduce manual effort and improve controls.
  • Experience applying Generative AI in business contexts, including Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, and/or AI Agents (use-case design, prompt patterns, guardrails, adoption).
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to create executive-ready summaries and facilitate decision-making across stakeholders.

Skills
  • Senior ownership mindset independently drives outcomes, manages priorities, and proactively escalates risks with proposed options.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influence across levels; able to facilitate alignment and manage competing demands.
  • Comfort working in ambiguity and fast-paced environments; adapts quickly as priorities shift while maintaining delivery discipline.
  • Analytical and structured problem solver with strong attention to detail, quality, and control/compliance considerations.
  • Collaboration and coaching: mentors peers/juniors, raises the standard for documentation, and shares best practices.
  • Clear, concise communicator—able to translate technical concepts into business value and executive-ready messaging.
  • Change-oriented and customer-focused; champions adoption and continuous improvement, including responsible AI usage and governance.
Benefits:
  • This is a hybrid position based in Ultra Park II, Lagunilla (Heredia).
