SUMMARY
The Director, Ad Product Development leads the innovation and buildout of automated ad decisioning and ad serving capabilities that power marketing solutions for thousands of Spectrum Reach clients. The initial scope includes programmatic advertising, self-service campaign management, and agentic media activation, with responsibility for the fastest growing segment of our business.
This role reports to the VP, Advertising Product Management and operates in a highly matrixed environment with multiple key stakeholders.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will drive strategy, product definition, business models, supply strategy, vendor and technology evaluation, cross-platform execution, and revenue growth.
  • Define and own the product roadmap for programmatic monetization, ad serving, agentic media sales, self-service campaign management, and supply quality monitoring
  • Integrate workflows and establish best practices for algorithmic and agentic media activation, execution, optimization, and reporting
  • Lead, develop, and mentor a team of product managers. Set priorities, remove roadblocks, and support career growth
  • Lead vendor and partner evaluations, meetings, and commercial contract negotiations. Interface with external executives and management as needed
  • Advise senior leadership on key opportunities, risks, and potential partnerships
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure proper testing, integration, activation, and ongoing support
  • Translate sales and market needs into compelling product opportunities. Build consensus on priorities to drive execution
  • Convert business strategy into a portfolio product roadmap. Articulate trade-offs and business cases for new features using data-driven prioritization. Define MVPs and release plans

QUALIFICATIONS
This leader will bring hands-on experience with programmatic and/or agentic media buying, with deep knowledge of OTT/streaming execution platforms and inventory sources. They will translate that expertise across internal and external stakeholders to move key initiatives forward.
  • At least 5 years of Product Mgmt/Development experience
  • Strong understanding of Programmatic (DSP and SSP)
  • Tech knowledge in the Programmatic space

The base pay for this position generally is between
$124,000.00 and $200,000.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
