About the Role: 

Hello Heart is currently looking for a Director, Client Strategy and Growth, to join our growing Customer Experience Team. As a leader within Hello Heart, you will be at the forefront of virtual care helping clients empower their members to improve their heart health and reduce costly events like heart attacks and strokes. 

Your role will specifically focus on client retention and growth, collaboratively developing the client strategy to nurture the relationships in your assigned book of business. 

With your clients and their consultants, you will need to develop deep relationships to truly understand their overall strategy / priorities and help shape our program to deliver on their needs. Internally, you will need to closely collaborate with marketing, our growth, and client success teams to drive awareness of, interest in, and retention & expansion of Hello Heart to their clients.

As a leader within the organization, you will be responsible for bringing market and client feedback into the company. You will work with product, clinical, operations, and others to inform their direction that enables you to grow and maintain our relationships across our portfolio. 

This is a fully remote position reporting to the Senior Director, Client Strategy & Growth 

Responsibilities:

  • Account Leadership: Collaboratively build the retention & expansion strategy for Hello Heart for your accounts along with our customer success, consultant relationships, and partnerships teams.
  • Relationship Management: Develop relationships with key client decision-makers and influencers to best position Hello Heart and their members for long-term success.
  • Revenue Retention & Renewals: Responsible for overall revenue retention year over year to 95% or better 
  • Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth through strategic client expansions, contract negotiations, and upsell opportunities
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and trends.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay abreast of industry changes, regulatory updates, and emerging trends within the health plan landscape; bring market feedback to the Hello Heart team to improve product/market fit.

Qualifications: 

  • GenAI-fluent, specifically for building client facing materials, summarizing account details, and synthesizing research
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) required
  • 3+ years of management / strategy consultant experience required, with 1+ year at the engagement manager, project leader, or manager level
  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare, digital health, population health, or equivalent industry
  • Experience in growth-stage / start-up companies strongly preferred
  • A demonstrated track record of account retention & expansion success
  • Strong relationship development and organization navigation skills including experience identifying and engaging key decision partners with success.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to overcome objections and achieve a win-win deal.
  • Attention to detail in everything from relationship strategy to tailoring the pitch through to contract negotiations.
  • Ability to travel (approximately 30~50%)

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $185,000.00 to $210,000.00 Salary ranges are determined by role and level. Compensation is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the annual salary and bonus only, and do not include equity or benefits.
