Director, Product Management — eMaint

The Opportunity

We're looking for a Director, Product Management to lead the next chapter: setting product strategy, sharpening our competitive position, and building the team and operating discipline needed to scale. This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who combines strategic horsepower with builder energy — someone who creates clarity, drives momentum, and turns opportunity into measurable outcomes for customers and the business alike.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years as a Senior Product Manager, Product Management Director, or comparable product leadership role in a scaling SaaS business
  • A track record of leading complex products from ideation to launch in Agile or lean product environments
  • Experience coaching and developing product managers — setting direction, raising the bar on product discipline
  • Strong business and financial acumen: building business cases, prioritizing investments, and making portfolio trade-offs
  • The ability to lead through influence across a matrixed org — Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, Services, Marketing, Finance, and Operations

Preferred Experience:

  • Subject matter expertise in CMMS/EAM, reliability, maintenance, or asset management software
  • MBA or advanced degree

What You'll Own

Strategy & Vision

  • Set eMaint's product vision and long-term roadmap — translating customer voice, market trends, and competitive insight into clear growth bets
  • Make the calls on prioritization, trade-offs, product-market fit, competitive positioning, and pricing
  • Build deep customer and market knowledge through direct engagement, research, and analytics — not just secondhand reporting

Execution & Governance

  • Own Lean Portfolio Management: the metrics, governance, and executive reporting that create transparency and speed
  • Lead products from ideation through launch, adoption, and iteration, ensuring every initiative solves a real customer problem and moves the business
  • Build the repeatable frameworks and playbooks that turn today's solutions into tomorrow's scalable capabilities

Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing product management team
  • Foster a culture of customer obsession, accountability, and continuous learning
  • Partner cross-functionally to remove bottlenecks and keep the org moving in the same direction

Why eMaint

Every day, maintenance and reliability professionals rely on eMaint to keep the assets that power manufacturing facilities running. We've spent 30+ years earning that trust — and we're now in the most exciting chapter of our story: advancing our platform, scaling globally, and redefining what great looks like in CMMS/EAM. You'll join a team with the ambition of a startup, the customer base of a category leader, and the backing of Fluke and Fortive behind you. If you want your product decisions to show up on plant floors and in customer outcomes you can measure — this is the seat.

San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area attracts more startup funding than any other region in the world. Home to Stanford University and UC Berkeley, leading VC firms and several of the world’s most valuable companies, the Bay Area is the place to go for anyone looking to make it big in the tech industry. • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, fintech, consumer technology, software
  • Funding Landscape: $50.5 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
