Chowbus is a leading AI Asian restaurant technology SaaS platform with deep roots in the North American market. We currently serve more than 10,000 Asian restaurants across 30+ states and 100+ key cities in the U.S.
We build technology solutions across POS, AI, and digital tools that help restaurant operators improve efficiency, reduce operating costs, and grow their businesses. As Chowbus continues to expand its product portfolio, customer base, and sales organization, we're looking for a Director of Revenue Strategy & Operations to dig into the details of our product, pricing, and sales motion — not from a boardroom, but from the ground up.

This role is for someone who's excited to roll up their sleeves: auditing what our product actually does today, figuring out what's missing, benchmarking our pricing against the market, and helping our sales team sell smarter. You'll spend real time talking to sales reps, customers, and third-party partners to build a ground-truth understanding of what's working and what's not.

What You'll Focus On

Product & Pricing Strategy
  • Lead a comprehensive assessment of our current product and feature set, identifying what's core, what's differentiating, and where we have gaps relative to the market
  • Develop a data-driven view of our pricing strategy — assessing whether current pricing is optimized, where there's upside, and where we may be mispositioned
  • Deliver concrete, well-substantiated recommendations on pricing, packaging, and product strategy that leadership can act on
Sales Strategy & Growth
  • Analyze sales performance, market trends, and customer insights to identify growth opportunities across markets, segments, and channels
  • Partner with Sales Leadership to translate strategy into clear sales priorities and execution plans
  • Evaluate third-party products, platforms, and partnerships that could accelerate revenue growth and improve customer value
Market & Competitive Intelligence
  • Build a strong, evidence-based understanding of industry trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics across restaurant tech, POS, and payments
  • Establish an ongoing market intelligence function to track evolving customer needs, competitive dynamics, and pricing trends
  • Consolidate input from Sales, City Managers, customers, and partners into a clear, reliable picture of market conditions — turning fragmented or incomplete data into actionable insights for leadership
  • Spend approximately 20% of your time in the market — conducting merchant visits, sales calls, and customer discovery to validate strategic assumptions with firsthand data
Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Partner closely with Sales, Product, Operations, and Finance to align strategic priorities and drive them forward
  • Translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations, and help ensure they're carried through to execution
What You Bring
  • 6+ years of experience in Sales Strategy, Commercial Strategy, Business Strategy, Growth Strategy, Management Consulting, or a related strategic function, preferably within a high-growth technology or SaaS company.
  • Proven experience developing strategies that drive revenue growth, product growth, market expansion, or sales effectiveness.
  • Strong commercial mindset with the ability to connect product, pricing, market, sales, and revenue.
  • Experience with pricing, product commercialization, or go-to-market strategy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn complex business problems into clear recommendations.
  • Experience in SaaS, POS, payments, restaurant technology, marketplace, or other B2B technology businesses is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of B2B sales and complex products or customer segments.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently frame ambiguous business problems, analyze incomplete or complex data, develop strategic recommendations, and influence senior stakeholders to act on those recommendations.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Strong executive communication and presentation skills.
  • Comfortable working in both strategic and hands-on environments.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 5-7 days per month for market visits, customer meetings, competitive research, partner meetings, and strategic initiatives.
  • Fluency in both English and Mandarin Chinese is required.
What We Offer
  • Competitive compensation package
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k)
  • 100% employer-paid Short-Term Disability (STD)
  • 100% employer-paid Life Insurance
  • 100% employer-paid AD&D Insurance
  • Company holidays
  • Birthday off
  • Paid Parental Leave
  • Flexible Paid Time Off (PTO)
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
  • Monthly Stipend
  • Direct exposure to North America leadership and the opportunity to shape Chowbus’ next stage of growth

The salary for this role is $130,000–$180,000 base plus bonus/equity, depending on experience.
