We are looking for a seasoned Enterprise Account Executive with a strong track record of landing and expanding large Fortune 1000 accounts through complex, consultative sales cycles. This role is focused on driving new enterprise business, opening doors at the highest levels of finance organizations, and building long-term strategic relationships within some of the world’s largest companies.
 
You will manage a large enterprise territory that includes multiple divisions and buying centers within Fortune 1000 organizations. Success requires deep account planning, executive-level engagement, and the ability to navigate long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles—while still maintaining momentum across a wide account base.
 
You will own the full sales process, from strategic prospecting to contract execution, working closely with finance, procurement, and executive leadership to drive adoption of AppZen’s AI-powered finance solutions.
 
Open locations include San Francisco Bay Area, Idaho, Oregon, Washingon.

Responsibilities:

  • Own a strategic enterprise territory primarily focused on Fortune 1000 organizations
  • Drive net-new enterprise logos and expand AppZen’s footprint within large, complex accounts
  • Develop and execute deep account plans to penetrate multiple business units and buying centers
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of 4x quota, weighted toward high-value enterprise opportunities
  • Manage 6–12+ month enterprise sales cycles with average deal sizes of $150K+
  • Lead executive-level discovery and value conversations with CFOs, Controllers, VPs of Finance, and Procurement leaders
  • Navigate complex, global buying committees and procurement processes
  • Deliver compelling, executive-ready presentations and demos to C-suite stakeholders
  • Orchestrate internal resources (Sales Engineering, Product, Leadership) to support complex deals
  • Co-sell with strategic partners and resellers to accelerate enterprise adoption

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of enterprise SaaS sales experience, with a strong emphasis on new logo acquisition
  • Proven success selling into Fortune 1000 or similarly large, complex organizations
  • Demonstrated ability to close complex, multi-stakeholder deals and consistently exceed quota
  • Experience engaging and influencing C-level and senior finance executives
  • Strong strategic account planning and territory management skills
  • Excellent executive presence, communication, and consultative selling capabilities
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Nice to Have:

  • Experience selling AP Automation, Spend Management, Expense, or Compliance solutions
  • Familiarity with Procure-to-Pay (P2P) ecosystems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa, Ariba)
  • Background selling AI-driven or data-intensive enterprise platforms

AppZen is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
 
The base pay range for this role is $120,000 to $150,000 and the variable compensation is 50% of the total on target earnings. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
 
The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus, stock, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
