About the company

Our client is a fast-growing software company.

The role

Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Act as the first dedicated salesperson, taking the baton from founder-led selling and shaping a repeatable sales process from scratch. The work spans generating pipeline, leading early buyer conversations and driving large deals toward signature, with room to take on the entire sales cycle over time.

What you'll do

- Own the front end of the funnel, including sourcing, prospecting, outbound campaigns, target customer research and contact mapping.

- Lead initial calls and discovery conversations, and schedule product demos.

- Turn the founders' early selling approach into a documented process the team can repeat.

- Advance deals toward signed pilots and contracts, earning uncapped commission.

- Choose and configure the sales tools the team will rely on.

- Expand over time into responsibility for every stage of the sales cycle.

What we're looking for

- A track record of selling technical products to large business buyers over extended, multi-stage deal cycles in a start-up setting.

- Full-cycle sales experience, from creating pipeline through to closing.

- Direct experience winning enterprise contracts with six- to seven-figure value.

- Roughly 4 to 8 years of experience, though 2 to 3+ years may be considered for standout candidates.

- Self-direction and the ability to deliver results with minimal guidance in a fast-moving, unstructured environment.

- Curiosity about technology and the ability to build trust with technical and executive audiences alike.

- A willingness to be coached and a strong drive to grow alongside the business.

Bonus points

- Prior experience at a high-growth technology start-up.
