About the company

Our client is a fast-growing software company.

The role

Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Works directly with client teams to understand how their existing processes run, then designs, builds and deploys software automations that perform reliably in production. Combines hands-on engineering with testing, monitoring and close collaboration with colleagues who manage client relationships and program plans.

What you'll do

- Map existing business processes with stakeholders and define the scope, success criteria, data access and constraints for each automation.

- Build tests that show whether a workflow performs reliably on real data and edge cases, both before and after launch.

- Deploy automations into client environments, monitor how they perform and resolve production failures.

- Turn recurring client needs and deployment lessons into reusable capabilities with platform engineers.

- Use quieter periods between engagements to identify expansion opportunities, scope follow-on phases and support business development.

Requirements

What we're looking for

- Proficient programmer with a record of delivering live software, preferably from client-facing or advisory engineering work.

- Background as a forward deployed engineer at an AI company, or a technical position at an organization that uses that role.

- Learns unfamiliar business processes quickly and turns them into a concrete technical plan.

- Skilled at validating software whose results resist simple checking, and at deciding when work is safe to release.

- Clear communicator with technical and non-technical audiences, comfortable with customers while requirements are still taking shape.

- Personable, able to run customer meetings independently, with high personal agency and strong motivation by incentives.

- One to four years of relevant experience.

Bonus points

- Hands-on exposure to autonomous AI tooling, linking enterprise software systems together, or automating operational workflows.
