Our client is an AI infrastructure startup building software for real-time applications. Its early sales team works with developers, engineering leaders, and business buyers.
The role
Raydar is recruiting for this opportunity through the Paraform network. The position is with our client. Join as a Founding Account Executive to turn technical demand into revenue and help establish the sales process. You will carry a quota, source opportunities, and work directly with company leadership.
What you'll do
- Own prospecting, discovery, demos, pricing, negotiation, and close.
- Build pipeline through outbound, inbound qualification, and developer adoption signals.
- Partner with engineering on proofs of concept and technical evaluations.
- Expand customer accounts across additional workloads and use cases.
- Improve qualification, messaging, and deal execution in the sales playbook.
Requirements
What we're looking for
- 4 to 10 years of relevant technical B2B sales experience.
- A record of selling developer tools, APIs, AI infrastructure, or similar technical products.
- Ability to source and close deals personally.
- Technical fluency with developers and engineering leaders.
- Experience selling AI infrastructure or voice AI products in a startup environment.
- Strong qualification, stakeholder mapping, and deal-planning discipline.
Bonus points
- Previous Founding Account Executive experience.
- Experience with consumption-based products.
Benefits
Compensation and benefits
- Base salary: USD 130,000 to 200,000 per year.
- Equity: 0.1-0.35%.
- On-target earnings: USD 260,000 to 400,000 at 100% quota attainment.
- Compensation uses a 50/50 base and variable split.
- Relocation assistance may be negotiated.
Location and work model
- Remote or in person in San Francisco, California.
