Own expansion revenue across an assigned book of B2B SaaS customers by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities, running the full commercial cycle, building account plans and relationships, conducting business reviews, and creating the companys expansion playbook in partnership with CS, Product, and Marketing.

Confido is the AI infrastructure powering modern CPG — the platform that 200+ brands like OLIPOP, Simple Mills, Dr. Squatch, and Tropicana use to run everything from deductions to production planning. Finance, accounting, sales, and operations, unified in one system for the first time.

We're growing 5x year over year with a small team in New York City; the people who join now will shape the product, the culture, and the company itself.

If you want your work on shelves everywhere — and outsized ownership while you build — we'd love to meet you.

We're hiring our first dedicated Account Manager — a revenue-focused individual who will own expansion across Confido's existing book of business. This is a founding role: you'll set the standard for how we grow accounts, build the playbook for upsell and cross-sell motions, and have a direct line to leadership on commercial strategy.

This is not a support role. You're a commercial operator whose job is to find and close growth opportunities within our customer base — by building deep relationships, understanding evolving business needs, and connecting the right Confido capabilities to the right problems at the right time. You will report directly to the Head of Business Operations.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Upsell & Cross-Sell

  • Own expansion revenue across your assigned book of business — upsell, cross-sell, and seat growth are your primary metrics

  • Proactively identify expansion signals: usage patterns, new use cases, org changes, and strategic initiatives that create openings

  • Build and execute account plans for your top targets, mapping stakeholders, timing opportunities, and building toward multi-year value

  • Run the full commercial cycle on expansion deals — discovery, proposal, negotiation, and close

Account Relationships

  • Build and maintain strong relationships across each account — from day-to-day users to economic buyers and executive sponsors

  • Conduct regular business reviews that connect Confido's value to each customer's commercial outcomes, creating a natural platform for growth conversations

  • Earn trusted advisor status with key contacts so you're the first call when they're evaluating new investments or facing new challenges

Commercial Playbook Building

  • Define and document the upsell and cross-sell motion from scratch — what triggers outreach, how deals are structured, what messaging resonates

  • Work with CS to establish clear handoff points and shared signals so expansion opportunities are never missed

  • Partner with Product and Marketing to understand the roadmap and translate new capabilities into compelling expansion narratives

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • 4+ years in Account Management, Sales, or a quota-carrying commercial role at a B2B SaaS company, with a track record of hitting expansion targets

  • Demonstrable experience owning upsell and cross-sell motions — you know how to find the opening, build the case, and close the deal

  • Strong relationship builder who can earn trust across multiple levels of an organization, from operators to C-suite

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and excited by the challenge of building process where none exists — this is a founding role, not a playbook-execution role

  • Familiarity with CPG, retail, or supply chain is a plus, but we care more about your commercial instincts than your industry background

  • Data-driven: you use pipeline data, usage analytics, and account health signals to prioritize and focus your time

  • Excellent communicator — crisp in writing, compelling in person, and able to tailor your message to the audience

  • Excited to be in our NYC headquarters 5 days a week

WHY CONFIDO

  • Founding role — you'll shape how Confido grows accounts and have direct influence on commercial strategy at the Series A stage

  • A warm book of business to work with: customers like Baskin Robbins and Olipop who are already seeing value and primed for expansion

  • Competitive base + uncapped commission potential on expansion revenue

  • A product customers genuinely love — expansion is a value conversation, not a pressure campaign

🌴 Perks + Benefits
  • Equity — own a meaningful piece of the company you’re helping build

  • Fully paid health coverage through Aetna — we cover 100% of employee premiums

  • Top-tier dental and vision coverage through Guardian

  • Carrot Fertility Pro — comprehensive fertility and family-forming support

  • 12 weeks of paid parental leave

  • Unlimited PTO — plus regular 4-day holiday weekends we actually take

  • 401(k) through Vestwell

  • Paid relocation support — we’ll help you make the move to NYC

  • Fully equipped workspace from day one — laptop, monitor, keyboard, and a $200 stipend to personalize your setup

  • Team perks — catered Friday lunches, team dinners, and unlimited coffee + snacks featuring products from the brands we work with
