The role
Raydar is recruiting for this opportunity through the Paraform network. The position is with our client. Build a founding marketing function spanning product launches, technical community growth, events, and partnerships.
What you'll do
- Own product launches and measure signups, activation, onboarding, and ongoing use.
- Build a technical community, maintain its CRM, and run office hours and product updates.
- Organize hackathons, meetups, conferences, and partner marketing programs.
- Develop university and research-lab partnerships.
- Coordinate public relations, customer case studies, social content, and weekly user interviews.
Requirements
What we're looking for
- 4 to 7 years in growth, community, developer relations, or ecosystem marketing.
- Experience growing users or technical communities at an AI, infrastructure, or developer-tools company.
- Technical fluency to demonstrate AI products and engage engineers and researchers.
- Ability to independently run campaigns and programs from planning through measurement.
- Strong writing, communication, and customer research skills.
Bonus points
- Experience as an early startup hire.
- University or research-lab partnership experience.
- Ability to create demo clips and marketing content independently.
Benefits
Compensation and benefits
- Base salary: USD 150,000 to 200,000 per year.
- Equity: Founding-level equity, with allocation up to approximately 0.5% based on experience.
Location and work model
- Hybrid role in San Francisco. Candidates must be local or willing to relocate.
