You will work closely with the Creative Director, Creative Strategist, and Retention Manager, bringing creative direction and briefs to life across the brand’s marketing surfaces.

The opportunity

Our client is looking for a talented Graphic Designer to bring their brand to life through high-quality static creative across their website, advertising, email, social media, packaging, and brand assets. This role is ideal for an artist with strong visual taste, a refined eye for composition, typography, color, and detail, and the ability to consistently produce polished work across different formats. The focus is on artistry, craft, consistency, and the ability to extend an established visual identity rather than reinvent it.

About the Organization

Our client is a Palestinian-owned, mission-led organization connecting small-scale farmers across Palestine directly with consumers worldwide. Their model is farm-first and regenerative, built around long-term partnerships with trusted growers, fairer pricing, and single-estate extra virgin olive oils sourced using traditional and modern cold-press methods.

Every bottle is fully traceable to its specific region and farm and reflects the people, land, and centuries-old heritage behind the product. Beyond commerce, the organization aims to create a global gateway for Palestinian farmers to share their produce, culture, and commitment to sustainable practices. The client’s name and additional details will be shared with shortlisted candidates before the client interview.

What you will do

  • Create high-quality static creative across website and product pages, advertising, email, social media, packaging, product design support, and brand assets.

  • Translate the Creative Director’s art direction, concepts, templates, and feedback into polished, production-ready designs.

  • Work within and extend existing brand guidelines, templates, typography, color palettes, layouts, and design systems while maintaining a consistent visual identity.

  • Adapt creative concepts across different placements, dimensions, formats, and markets while maintaining brand consistency.

  • Design ad statics and carousels, as well as email, social, website, and product-page graphics.

  • Support packaging and product design needs, ensuring physical and digital creative remain cohesive.

  • Work from creative briefs and collaborate with the Creative Strategist and Retention Manager to understand requirements and deliverables.

  • Manage multiple creative requests, iterate based on feedback, and deliver consistently high-quality work at an agreed pace.

  • Prepare final assets accurately for their intended digital or print applications.

  • Use strong judgment around composition, typography, color, hierarchy, spacing, and visual storytelling.

  • Work independently and reliably, managing priorities, deadlines, communication, and deliverables as a remote contractor.

What you bring

  • An artist-first approach to design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating visual craft, taste, range, and quality across brand and marketing design.

  • A strong eye for composition, typography, color, layout, hierarchy, and visual detail.

  • Professional experience creating static graphic design across multiple surfaces, including web, social, advertising, email, print, or packaging.

  • Strong proficiency with Figma, Photoshop, and Illustrator.

  • Ability to work within an established brand identity and execute someone else’s creative direction while maintaining your own high standard of craft.

  • Experience adapting creative across different formats, placements, and channels while maintaining consistency.

  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to produce polished work consistently across a batch of deliverables.

  • Ability to take feedback, iterate quickly, and manage multiple creative requests and deadlines.

  • Commitment to creating original design work without AI-generated imagery, in line with the brand’s emphasis on authenticity and real, provable origin.

Helpful but not essential

  • Experience designing for direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands.

  • Experience with advertising and marketing creative.

  • Experience with motion design or animation.

  • Experience with packaging or product design.

  • Familiarity with the Palestinian story, culture, and mission, or a strong personal connection to the organization’s purpose.

How we’ll evaluate you

  • Your portfolio will be a key part of the evaluation, with particular attention to artistry, range, visual taste, and quality across brand and marketing design.

  • You will complete a paid trial consisting of a set of pieces from a real creative brief, working from the Creative Director’s existing templates and art direction.

  • The trial will be evaluated based on craft, brand fit, attention to detail, and turnaround.

  • We will evaluate consistency across the full set of deliverables, not just the quality of one individual or “hero” piece.

How the engagement works

  • The hiring process begins with a conversation with the recruitment team to discuss your experience, portfolio, availability, and mutual expectations.

  • For a contractor engagement, your work will be based on the agreed scope and deliverables. You are expected to provide your own laptop and basic equipment, maintain reliable connectivity and a secure working environment, and meet agreed deadlines and communication expectations.

  • Any client-provided specialized equipment, leave, stipend, wellbeing benefit, or other support will be stated separately as an approved exception.

  • If you contract through Apricot, planned check-ins are [month 1 and month 3 / other approved cadence] to see how the engagement is working and help address issues.
