About Honey Homes

Honey Homes eliminates the hassle of home upkeep, replacing it with comfort and joy. Our 3,500+ members (homeowners) are each paired with a dedicated handyman who manages lightweight upgrades, repairs, and maintenance throughout the year. All of our handymen are full-time employees — hired for their technical expertise, service mindset, and integrity. Because the same professional cares for your home consistently, members experience something rare in home services: reliability, trust, and consistently high-quality care.

Behind the scenes, our AI-powered systems help us operate thoughtfully and efficiently at scale. We’re redefining modern homeownership, and we’re just getting started.

The Opportunity

As our Growth Lead, you will own and scale Honey Homes’ growth engine by turning paid acquisition into a predictable, efficient, and increasingly scalable driver of business growth.

This role is for a quantitative growth operator who combines analytical rigor with hands-on execution. Paid acquisition is your primary lever, but your real job is improving the efficiency and predictability of growth across the business. You understand unit economics, attribution, experimentation design, conversion systems, and scaling mechanics. With this foundation, you effectively turn insights into impact..

You’ll be hands-on with all paid channels and downstream conversion. You'll be supported with best-in-class agencies, creative partners, and engineering. You should expect to directly influence leadership decision making and product development. We’re looking for someone who is AI-native, highly accountable, and equally comfortable building campaigns, analyzing funnel data, managing partners, and identifying the next growth lever for the business.

This is a Senior IC role to start, with agency support. In-person or Hybrid, based in Oakland, CA, and reports directly to the Co-founder and Head of Growth.

What Might Make This Role Challenging

This is not a role with a fully defined playbook or a large team in place from day one.

You’ll need to be comfortable figuring things out as you go, prioritizing where to focus, and making decisions with imperfect information. Some experiments will fail, and part of the job is being able to learn quickly and move on.

If you’re looking for a highly structured environment or to grow a program with agency management alone, this won’t be the right fit. If you’re excited by the idea of building something from first principles, it likely will be.

Outcomes1. Own and scale paid acquisition as a predictable growth engine

You’ll own our paid acquisition channels, helping drive 400+ completed walk-thrus per month at sustainable CAC. Google and Meta are your home base — you set strategy, manage agency execution, and continuously improve performance over time.

You will:

  • Own channel strategy, budget allocation, pacing, forecasting, and reporting across Google, Meta, Direct Mail, and emerging channels

  • Manage agency partners to a high performance bar and push for speed, quality, and accountability

  • Continuously optimize CAC, conversion rates, and downstream member quality

  • Build increasingly accurate attribution and forecasting systems

  • Partner closely with Sales and CX to improve lead quality and downstream conversion

2. Build a rapid experimentation engine

You compress the cycle between hypothesis, launch, learning, and iteration. Your testing velocity is one of the company’s competitive advantages.

You will:

  • Launch and manage meaningful tests across creative, audiences, landing pages, offers, and conversion flows

  • Drive the creative testing roadmap alongside agency and internal partners

  • Use AI aggressively to accelerate research, reporting, analysis, and creative iteration

3. Identify and scale new growth channels

We believe Honey Homes has significant growth headroom beyond today’s channels. You’ll identify and validate the next acquisition opportunities before they become obvious.

You will:

  • Evaluate new channels based on TAM, economics, audience fit, and scalability

  • Identify high-potential opportunities across channels like YouTube, TikTok, Reddit, and Nextdoor

  • Design and execute on experiments with clear success thresholds

  • Make fast decisions on whether to scale, iterate, or kill initiatives

4. Strengthen growth analytics and operational visibility

Your work improves the organization’s ability to make smart, data-informed growth decisions.

You will:

  • Improve reporting systems, funnel analytics, and attribution clarity

  • Build dashboards, forecasting models, and decision frameworks

  • Help leadership understand CAC trends, payback periods, and growth efficiency

  • Partner cross-functionally across Product, Sales, CX, Ops, and Finance to improve outcomes

Core Competencies

Quantitative Marketing & Analytical Rigor: You deeply understand CAC, LTV, payback periods, attribution, funnel conversion, and incrementality. You quickly identify signal versus noise and use data to make strong business decisions.

Performance Marketing Expertise: You have meaningful hands-on experience managing and scaling paid acquisition channels, particularly Google and Meta. You understand audience strategy, creative optimization, landing page conversion dynamics, and budget allocation deeply.

Systems Thinking & Business Judgment: You think beyond campaigns and channels. You understand how marketing performance connects to broader business outcomes and naturally identify leverage points across the funnel.

AI-Native Operator: You actively use AI tools to accelerate testing, reporting, analysis, workflow automation, and creative iteration. Your instinct is to increase leverage through systems rather than brute-force execution.

Ownership & Builder Mentality: You are highly accountable, hands-on, and biased toward action. You move quickly, learn rapidly, and care deeply about balancing growth, efficiency, and long-term business health.

Qualifications

We’re seeking an experienced growth operator with 4-8 years of hands-on experience in performance marketing, growth marketing, or growth operations. You should have meaningful ownership over paid acquisition channels at scale and strong familiarity with forecasting, experimentation, attribution systems, and funnel analytics.

Ideal backgrounds include:

  • Demonstrated experience scaling paid acquisition for a consumer, marketplace, or membership-based business

  • Strong hands-on ownership of Google and Meta acquisition channels

  • Experience managing agencies and external partners to a high performance bar

  • Strong experimentation and landing page optimization experience

  • Demonstrated daily use of AI tools in a professional setting

You thrive in fast-moving environments, enjoy ambiguity, and care deeply about building scalable systems that drive efficient growth.

Compensation: $150-$175,000 / year, plus equity and full health benefits.

We are an equal opportunity employer and consider all qualified applicants equally without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran status, or disability status. Women and under-represented minorities are encouraged to apply.
