About the Team
Uber Advertising’s vision is to build the world’s most marketplace-centric advertising network—connecting advertisers directly with millions of daily riders, eaters, and earners. By integrating our Mobility and Delivery channels, we power full-funnel brand and performance campaigns that engage consumers from initial discovery all the way to purchase and long-term advocacy.

As we rapidly scale this dedicated division, our high-impact product suite enables global merchants and brands to tap into, reach, and convert a highly engaged audience across 32 international markets.

About the Role
As the Head of US Sales, you will own the single largest revenue-generating market in Uber Advertising (~65% of global revenue). We are looking for a proven builder—a strategic yet operationally grounded leader who can drive immediate commercial outcomes today while actively helping shape the future vision and roadmap for the broader business, including product, measurement, marketing, and operations.

In this high-stakes, high-visibility role, you will be a key driver in establishing a high-performance commercial culture built on pipeline rigor, tight quota management, and active performance management across all leadership tiers. To succeed, you must thrive in ambiguity, moving at pace to navigate evolving business needs and prioritize competing demands across a rapidly scaling organization.

What You'll Do

  • Drive Commercial Outcomes & Strategy: Formulate and execute the US revenue strategy, delivering on quarterly targets (~65% of global revenue) across all Uber Ads surfaces.
  • Shape Strategy & Vision: Serve as a core commercial partner to cross-functional leadership, helping shape the long-term strategic roadmap across global product features, ad measurement capabilities, go-to-market marketing, and operational frameworks.
  • Instill Commercial Rigor & Culture: Build and champion a high-performance sales culture by embedding pipeline discipline, rigorous quota management, and active performance management across all frontline and multi-tier management levels.
  • Shape Product & Inventory Strategy: Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to guide ads inventory, formats, targeting capabilities, measurement solutions, and pricing strategies across the marketing funnel.
  • Drive Cross-Functional Synergy: Build deep alignment across Operations, Marketing, Strategy, BD, Finance, Legal, and Support to streamline execution, remove operational bottlenecks, and accelerate growth.
  • Build, Fix & Scale Operations: Assess existing structures, establish clear KPIs, and refine operational processes to continuously improve sales output, forecasting accuracy, and resource allocation.
  • Navigate Ambiguity & Prioritize at Scale: Move fast in a rapidly evolving business, maintaining high execution standards while managing competing priorities and solving complex, ambiguous challenges.
  • Lead & Inspire High-Performing Teams: Recruit, mentor, and retain top sales and account management talent, cultivating a resilient, accountable, and winning team culture.

Basic Qualifications

  • 12+ years of advertising sales leadership experience—preferably within a high-growth marketplace, ad-tech, or mobile app platform.
  • 5+ years leading a high-growth revenue organization with a track record of setting key sales metrics and scaling operational infrastructure.
  • 8+ years leading multi-tier sales teams with proven success managing senior managers and directors.
  • Demonstrated experience taking ownership of a massive revenue footprint, operating in high-visibility environments, and driving sales execution in competitive markets.
  • Business administration degree or equivalent hands-on commercial experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Builder Mindset: Proven ability to step into complex environments, diagnose operational gaps, implement performance frameworks, and pivot strategies to accelerate growth.
  • Inspirational Leadership: Exceptional track record of building inclusive, high-energy cultures that retain top talent and drive peak performance under tight expectations.
  • Commercial Grit & Execution: High agency, bias for action, and a relentless focus on winning market share in established and emerging ad channels.
  • US Market Mastery: Deep network and reputation within the US digital advertising ecosystem, with experience managing major brand and agency relationships.
  • Cross-Functional Influence: Ability to work effectively with Product, Engineering, and Finance leads to advocate for US market needs and shape the global roadmap.
