Element employees make a difference in the lives of others every day. We are re-defining the fleet management industry to be people first, then business – delivering on our promise of a superior client experience. This takes hard work and innovation, and we need more like-minded people on our team.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Element Pay is Element Mobility's fleet payments business and a significant growth opportunity. Fleets move substantial spend through fuel, tolls, violations, maintenance and service payments, creating an opportunity to modernize how those transactions are initiated, managed and reconciled.

With vehicle-initiated payments technology in the portfolio, Element Pay brings payments capabilities together with Element's client relationships, distribution and fleet-management ecosystem. The opportunity is to scale the platform across the client base and expand into adjacent fleet payment and connected-vehicle use cases.

As VP Payments, you will lead the strategy, growth and end-to-end performance of Element Pay. This is a general-management role with P&L accountability and leadership across product, engineering, commercial, operations and go-to-market disciplines.

You will shape where Element builds, buys or partners; set the product and commercial roadmap; develop the partnership ecosystem; and build the operating discipline and leadership capability required to scale the business sustainably.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

  • Own the Element Pay P&L end to end, including revenue, unit economics, cost structure, investment decisions, profitability and growth priorities.
  • Set the business and product strategy and roadmap, deciding where to build, buy or partner and which capabilities will create differentiated client and business value.
  • Scale vehicle-initiated payments across Element's client base and expand the platform into relevant fleet payment and connected-vehicle use cases.
  • Lead product and engineering priorities from concept through launch and continuous improvement, ensuring solutions are scalable, reliable and commercially viable.
  • Build and manage strategic partnerships across merchant and fuel networks, issuers, processors, OEMs and technology providers, including pricing and partnership structures.
  • Lead and develop the cross-functional Element Pay organization, maintain clear accountability and operating rhythms, and represent the business with senior leadership and key stakeholders.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

  • Element Pay has a clear strategy and roadmap that aligns product, technology, commercial and investment priorities.
  • Business performance is managed with disciplined attention to P&L, unit economics, profitability, growth and corrective action.
  • The payments platform scales reliably across Element's client base and expands into commercially viable adjacent use cases.
  • Strategic partnerships and go-to-market choices strengthen platform reach, adoption and economics.
  • The Element Pay organization has strong leadership, clear accountability and senior-stakeholder alignment.
