Our client is a fast-growing seed-stage marketplace serving AI data and market-research teams. The company has raised $9M, supports thousands of expert placements each month for more than 25 clients, and has proven product-market fit across human-data projects and traditional market research.

You will report directly to the CEO and own the full project-delivery organization. The mandate is to scale fulfillment from roughly 50 monthly projects to hundreds while growing the team from seven project leads today to 20+ people by the end of 2026.

What you'll do

• Oversee a portfolio of concurrent human-data and market-research projects, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently and deadlines are met.

• Run daily operating cadences with project leads and decide where to hire, reallocate resources, or increase focus.

• Design and improve expert workflows to reduce drop-off and increase fulfillment quality.

• Act as a thought partner to clients on complex scopes, expert calibration, and delivery design.

• Use fulfillment, throughput, drop-off, and resource-allocation data to improve operations.

• Grow client accounts through reliable, high-quality delivery.

• Coach and scale a hands-on team while remaining close to execution.

Requirements

• 4+ years of delivery-operations experience overseeing multiple projects with hard deadlines.

• Experience at a Series A-D or comparable early-stage startup; human-data, AI-data, data-vendor, expert-network, or marketplace experience is especially valuable.

• Experience managing at least two direct reports and scaling a delivery team.

• Strong analytical judgment across fulfillment rates, throughput, drop-off, and resource allocation.

• A coach-player mindset and comfort operating in an intense startup environment.

Benefits

• $200K-$300K base salary, a $50K-$100K performance bonus, and competitive equity.

• Full-time and on-site five days per week in San Francisco's Financial District near Montgomery BART, with occasional Saturday work.

• $10K-$15K in relocation support, including a housing incentive for candidates who move near the office.

• Visa transfers such as OPT and H-1B transfers may be considered.

• Health, dental, vision, and a 401(k) with company match.
