As an HR Business Partner at Nebius, you will play a key role in supporting our rapidly growing organization in Israel. You will serve as a trusted advisor to leaders across Engineering, Security, Operations, and Corporate functions, helping to shape team structure, workforce plans, talent development, and employee experience.
This role combines strategic partnership with hands-on execution—you will influence business decisions, coach managers, and ensure smooth implementation of global HR processes, while maintaining a deep understanding of the local Israeli context.Key Responsibilities
Strategic Partnership & Organizational Support
- Act as a primary HR advisor to leaders and managers in Israel across multiple business units.
- Support organizational planning, team structure, and headcount strategy in alignment with business priorities.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve team performance, engagement, and long-term talent pipeline.
- Translate global HR strategy into local, practical actions.
- Own the end-to-end employee lifecycle locally (onboarding → development → retention → exit).
- Drive local implementation of global HR programs: performance reviews, compensation cycles, promotions, and engagement surveys.
- Partner with managers to resolve employee-related topics with professionalism and empathy, ensuring compliance with Israeli employment law and Nebius values.
- Develop and maintain a high-trust, high-communication environment.
- Coach managers on topics such as feedback, performance management, conflict resolution, and people leadership.
- Support the development of emerging leaders and help scale management maturity across the site.
- Provide training recommendations for teams and individuals.
- Use HR metrics and analytics (attrition, engagement, performance, compensation benchmarks) to drive informed decision-making.
- Identify trends early and proactively recommend solutions.
- Ensure compliance with Israeli labor laws, payroll guidelines, benefits policies, and Nebius internal processes.
- Partner with Legal, Finance, Payroll, and Global People Operations to ensure alignment across all HR activities.
- Support the ongoing evolution of Nebius culture across the Israel office and data center.
- 5+ years of experience as an HRBP or People Partner in a global, fast-growing tech environment.
- Strong understanding of Israeli labor law and HR best practices.
- Proven experience advising managers and supporting complex HR topics end-to-end.
- Strong analytical mindset; ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, challenge, and coach.
- Ability to operate independently, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple topics simultaneously.
- Fluent in English and Hebrew.
- Experience working in an international company with HQ abroad.
- Experience supporting R&D, Security, Infra/Cloud, or Operations teams.
- Familiarity with HR systems (Greenhouse, Deel, Workday-like tools, BambooHR, or similar).
- Experience in scaling organizations and building HR processes from scratch.
