Provide guidance on multi-state employment law, especially California, coach managers, improve scalable People processes, and partner with global People, Payroll, Finance, and Legal teams to maintain compliant and effective employment practices.
About Resolve AI
  • Software maintenance and production troubleshooting have become a massive tax of engineering velocity. Resolve AI is solving this by building a transformative, truly autonomous AI Production Engineer that investigates and fixes complex system issues end-to-end.

  • Our founders (Spiros Xanthos and Mayank Agarwal) are the core creators of OpenTelemetry and led Splunk Observability. They have had 2 successful exits to Splunk and VMware.

  • We’ve raised over $190M from top-tier investors including Lightspeed, Greylock, DST, Unusual Ventures, and individual backers such as Jeff Dean (Chief Scientist, Google DeepMind), Thomas Dohmke (CEO, GitHub), Matt Garman (CEO, AWS), Reid Hoffman (Founder, LinkedIn), and Fei-Fei Li (Professor, Stanford).

What You’ll Do

As our very first HR Business Partner, you’ll be embedded directly with our Sales and Engineering organizations, partnering daily with functional leaders and founders to scale Resolve AI thoughtfully and effectively. You’ll play a critical role in shaping our culture, org design, and people systems as we grow.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Partner closely with Sales and Engineering leadership, as well as Resolve AI’s founders, to align people strategy with business priorities and execution.

  • Provide end-to-end HRBP support across two of our most critical orgs, supporting leaders and teams through growth, change, and scale.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to managers, coaching on performance management, feedback, career development, and effective leadership in a fast-growing environment.

  • Lead org health initiatives, including org design, workforce planning, role clarity, and team effectiveness as we scale.

  • Drive and project-manage core people programs for Sales and Engineering, including onboarding, performance cycles, engagement surveys, and career frameworks.

  • Partner cross-functionally with Recruiting, HR Operations, Finance, Legal, and IT to ensure seamless people operations and a strong employee experience.

  • Use people data and insights to identify trends, surface risks, and make thoughtful recommendations to leadership.

  • Help build scalable, high-trust people processes that support both high performance and psychological safety.

  • Support leaders through change management efforts such as team growth, restructures, evolving roles, and scaling leadership expectations.

  • Own and navigate employee relations matters, including performance issues, conflict resolution, and sensitive employee concerns.

  • Design and support manager enablement efforts (toolkits, training, and resources) to raise the bar on people leadership.

What We’re Looking For
  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience, with 4+ years in an HR Business Partner role at a high-growth startup or technology company.

  • Proven experience partnering with senior leaders, including executives and founders, on complex people and organizational topics.

  • Experience supporting both technical (Engineering) and go-to-market (Sales) organizations.

  • Strong emotional intelligence with the ability to build trust quickly, navigate sensitive situations, and influence without authority.

  • A builder mindset, you are excited to create structure where needed while staying pragmatic and flexible in an evolving environment.

  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous settings and adapt as priorities shift.

  • Experience supporting distributed or global teams is a plus.

  • Data-oriented approach with comfort using people metrics to inform decisions and drive impact.

We are an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, protected veteran status, disability, age, and other characteristics protected by law.
