The Serve fleet has been delighting merchants, customers, and pedestrians along the way in Los Angeles, Miami, Dallas, Atlanta and Chicago while doing commercial deliveries. We’re looking for talented individuals who will grow robotic deliveries from surprising novelty to efficient ubiquity.

JOB OVERVIEW

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for developing and leading the people strategy for their respective field operations business group. As a strategic advisor to senior leadership, this position identifies people and culture gaps, develops resolution strategies, and executes solutions. The HRBP is also responsible for leading all cyclical HR initiatives within their client groups including annual performance reviews, talent calibrations, compensation planning, proactive retention, org design and development, and more.

JOB DUTIES

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, driving HR initiatives that enhance organizational performance and foster a strong, inclusive culture.

  • Establish, enforce, and communicate HR policies and procedures across client groups ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local regulations, reducing legal risk.

  • Review and assess org design and development challenges and execute solutions for scale.

  • Champion a positive work environment, fostering inclusivity, continuous improvement, and high performance at all levels of the organization.

  • Execute performance management systems that drive employee development, accountability, and organizational growth.

  • Drive adoption of HR technology, promote self-service tools, and lead change management initiatives to optimize HR processes and systems.

  • Leverage HR data and metrics to identify trends, anticipate business needs, and develop actionable solutions that align with organizational objectives.

  • Identify opportunity areas and partner with L&OD to provide coaching and development to all levels of leadership within assigned business groups

  • Identify scalable solutions and processes within HR functional expertise areas to enable rapid growth and risk mitigation.

  • Conduct thorough due diligence and investigations of Employee Relations matters in partnership with HR Leadership and Legal

  • Execute HR cyclical talent initiatives within assigned business groups, using results to drive forward-thinking people strategies.

EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS, & SKILLS

Required Experience, Qualifications, and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Design/Development, or equivalent experience.

  • 3-5+ years of HRBP experience, with a proven track record in transforming people strategies and practices.

  • 1-2 years experience scaling HR functions in a hyper-growth environment, preferably within a tech startup

  • People first and action oriented mindset; willing to roll up your sleeves attitude

  • Demonstrated ability to influence and develop leaders at all levels

  • In-depth knowledge of federal and California employment law and HR best practices.

  • Proven leadership influence and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.

  • Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Experience, Qualifications, and Skills

  • PHR/SHRM-CP or higher preferred

  • Experience supporting field operations/hourly business groups

  • Requires quarterly travel < 1 week
