About Chili Piper

Chili Piper is a B2B SaaS startup. Our product helps clients turn inbound leads into qualified meetings instantly, helping revenue teams connect to buyers faster. We are a fully remote global team dedicated to solving interesting problems, helping others, and having fun.

We’re growing fast and we're ready to take over the world (in the most civil and appropriate way possible, of course).

**Chili Piper Product Suite + Gong Engage Expertise Required**

About the Role

We’re seeking a high-impact Implementation Specialist to onboard and activate customers coming directly through our Gong partnership. These customers will adopt ChiliCal and/or Handoff within their Gong Engage workflows—and this role will also identify opportunities for customers to leverage the broader Chili Piper product suite, including Concierge, Distro, and Chat AI.

This position requires strong product knowledge, technical fluency, and the ability to influence customers toward fast, successful go-lives while uncovering high-value use cases across the platform.

Team & Reporting Structure

This role is part of the Customer Success organization and reports directly to the Head of Customer Success.
Because of the strategic nature of the Gong partnership, this role requires significant cross-functional collaboration, especially with our Commercial teams, Partnerships, and Product.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead onboarding for Gong-sourced customers, managing the full lifecycle from intro to go-live.

  • Serve as a product expert across ChiliCal, Handoff, Concierge, Distro, and Chat AI.

  • Guide customers through the integration with Gong Engage, optimizing sequences, workflows, and rep usage.

  • Identify cross-product use cases, recommending Concierge, Distro, Chat AI, or other capabilities that solve customer pain points.

  • Manage a high-volume implementation pipeline, keeping customers engaged and driving fast time-to-value.

  • Run configuration, training, and build sessions, particularly around Salesforce integrations, routing logic, and workflow setup.

  • Influence customer decisions with strong sales acumen—communicating value, handling objections, and steering toward best practices.

  • Leverage AI tools to streamline follow-ups and maintain momentum across many simultaneous implementations.

  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Partnerships, and Product to ensure a seamless customer experience and drive mutual success with Gong.

  • Provide clear documentation of implementation progress, risks, and milestones for internal and partner visibility.

What You Bring
  • Required: Hands-on experience with Gong Engage, including sequences, tasks, and integration workflows.

  • Required: Strong knowledge of Chili Piper products—ChiliCal, Handoff, Concierge, Distro, and Chat AI.

  • Technical proficiency, especially with Salesforce objects, flows, lead routing, and integrations.

  • Strong time-management skills, able to run many implementations concurrently.

  • Excellent communication and sales influence, capable of articulating value and guiding customers through objections.

  • Tenacity and follow-through, consistently pushing customers toward launch and early adoption.

  • Proven success onboarding customers in post-sales roles, with a focus on fast time-to-value.

Why This Role Matters

This role is critical to the success of our Gong partnership and the broader Chili Piper ecosystem. You’ll ensure customers get value quickly, expand their usage across our platform, and experience a seamless integration between Gong Engage, Salesforce, and the Chili Piper product suite.

Additional Information

Why you'll love being a part of our team:

Our team loves Chili Piper because we’re building the company of the future.

  • Work with an immensely talented global team

  • Work in a business that’s run fairly and transparently

  • Competitive pay based on market rate wherever you live

  • We lead by example--showing industry peers and leaders how to innovate, improve, and grow--while having fun

How we work:

  • Freedom and flexibility. We’re a 100% distributed team working from around the world, and we've been fully remote since 2016. Our team members can work from wherever they want in the world, as long as they show up on our weekly all hands meeting on Zoom.

  • Solve interesting problems. The software landscape has exploded. There are dozens of solutions for each problem. We want to be different. We come up with new angles on existing problems or invent better solutions to help companies with their sales and marketing. Then we turn these ideas into beautiful, smart software.

  • Autonomy and ownership. Working on a distributed team means you don’t have someone micromanaging you or looking over your shoulder to make sure you’re getting things done. We’re a team of do-ers who take full ownership for their results.

  • Be helpful. Our first value as a company is help. Help our customers be successful. Help our prospects get the right information and make the right decision whether or not it includes our products. Help our team members reach their full potential.

The perks:

  • Unlimited vacation (and we do mean it, and we do take it!)

  • Generous health, dental, and vision insurance

  • Any equipment/software/tech that you need to do your job

  • Annual professional development stipend of $2,000 USD

  • Equity - all Pipers receive stock options

  • Annual company retreat for a week of bonding and adventure (previous retreat locations include Paris, Morocco, Tulum, Iceland, Ibiza, and India!)

San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area attracts more startup funding than any other region in the world. Home to Stanford University and UC Berkeley, leading VC firms and several of the world’s most valuable companies, the Bay Area is the place to go for anyone looking to make it big in the tech industry. Key Facts About San Francisco Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 365,500; 13.9% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, fintech, consumer technology, software
  • Funding Landscape: $50.5 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Sequoia Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, Bessemer Venture Partners, Greylock Partners, Khosla Ventures, Kleiner Perkins
  • Research Centers and Universities: Stanford University; University of California, Berkeley; University of San Francisco; Santa Clara University; Ames Research Center; Center for AI Safety; California Institute for Regenerative Medicine
