Job Description:

GDIT is seeking an Information Assurance Analyst to help support our Base Infrastructure Modernization (BIM) contract at Andersen Air Force Base in Guam.
As an Information Assurance Analyst, you will join our team to be the local representative to support the government information systems. The IA role will support the Risk Management Framework process, and participate in the certification, accreditation, continuous monitoring and Improvement processes.
HOW AN INFORMATION ASSURANCE ANALYST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • Performs all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of information systems assets and to protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction
  • Collaborates directly with AF client on IA related tasks
  • Participates in network software upgrades, as well as certificate renewals and installs.
  • Updates technical documentation; maintains and implements SOPs for network security.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED - REQUIRED:

  • Security Clearance Level: Active Secret
  • Certification: CompTIA Security+ CE or similar
  • Willing to obtain DoW 8140 (CASP+, CCNA Security, CCNP Security, CCSP, GCED, GCIA, GCLD, CISA, CISSP, GSLC), aka SecurityX, within 60 days of hire
  • Education: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree
  • Year's Experience: 1+ years of related experience
  • Technical Skills: RMF process, DoW IA procedures, Experience working in a DoW environment
  • Skills and Abilities: Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multi-task while still ensuring high quality of work.
  • Location: Customer on-site in Andersen AFB, Guam

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Technical Skills: Incident management expertise with a track record of managing complex, multi-team responses, ITIL 4 foundation and ITSM tools.
  • Certification: DoW 8140 (CASP+, CCNA Security, CCNP Security, CCSP, GCED, GCIA, GCLD, CISA, CISSP, GSLC), aka SecurityX

The likely salary range for this position is $66,560 - $88,550. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
