About Us

Rho is the modern banking platform built for the AI era. Startups and growth-stage companies can open accounts in minutes, issue cards, manage expenses, pay bills, and close the books – all in one connected platform backed by real human support.

About the Role

Rho is hiring an IT Engineer to own the technology backbone that keeps our SF office and distributed team running. You'll be the go-to person for employee IT support, device and identity management, and the systems and tooling that help Rho move fast. This is a hands-on, in-office role based in our SF office — ideal for someone who loves solving problems for their colleagues and building scalable IT operations at a high-growth fintech.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all employee IT support — hardware, software, access, and troubleshooting — with a focus on fast, friendly resolution.

  • Own device lifecycle management across macOS and Windows, including procurement, provisioning, MDM, and secure offboarding.

  • Administer core identity and SaaS systems (SSO, Google Workspace, Slack, and related tools), including access onboarding and offboarding.

  • Manage the NYC office's IT infrastructure — networking, AV, conference rooms, and on-site hardware.

  • Build and document IT processes, runbooks, and self-service resources that scale as Rho grows.

  • Partner with Security, People, and Finance on access controls, compliance, and asset management.

  • Lead IT onboarding for new hires and ensure a seamless day-one experience.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of IT support or IT operations experience, ideally in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

  • Hands-on expertise administering macOS and Windows, MDM tools, and identity/SSO platforms.

  • Strong working knowledge of Google Workspace, Slack, and common SaaS administration.

  • Experience managing office IT infrastructure, including networking, AV, and conference room technology.

  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and a customer-service mindset — you make IT feel easy for your colleagues.

  • A clear communicator who can document processes and support non-technical teammates.

  • Willing and able to work on-site 5 days per week in our SF office.

Our people are our most valuable asset. The salary range for this role is $90,000 - $180,000. In addition to base pay, Rho offers equity, healthcare benefits and paid time off.
