monday.com is the AI work platform powering the most ambitious teams. 250,000+ customers across departments use us to bring people, workflows, and AI agents together on one flexible platform where AI doesn't just assist, it executes. We move fast, build things that matter, and foster an ownership-driven culture where you're empowered to shape how organizations work and outpace their competition.
At monday.com, we're building the infrastructure that keeps a global, fast-moving SaaS company running. We're looking for a hands-on, ownership-driven IT Infra & Cloud Engineer to join our global IT team - based out of our New York office.

This is not a "keep the lights on" role. We're looking for someone who thrives in complexity, takes end-to-end ownership, and thinks in systems - not just tickets. Someone who knows their way around enterprise networking, cloud platforms, and modern SaaS stacks, and is genuinely excited about what AI-driven tooling can do for infrastructure operations.

About the Role

You'll own the design, implementation, and ongoing operation of monday.com's IT infrastructure for our New York office and beyond - working closely with global IT, Security, Automation, and R&D teams to keep our systems stable, secure, and scalable.

You'll balance operational responsibilities with leading infrastructure projects: from network architecture and SaaS administration to cloud environments and security policy enforcement. And you'll be the person who spots problems before they become incidents.
Responsibilities

  • Manage and administer IT-owned SaaS platforms and management systems at a senior level — including AWS, Azure, GCP, Google Workspace, Okta, Intune, Jamf, Palo Alto, Prisma Access, and ZTNA/SASE solutions

  • Own and maintain IT-managed infrastructure and network equipment: firewalls, switches, wired and wireless connectivity - ensuring performance, resilience, and security

  • Partner with IT Cybersecurity teams to implement and enforce security policies, configurations, and compliance controls aligned with organizational standards

  • Lead and execute infrastructure and cloud projects end-to-end - from planning through rollout - with clear communication, documentation, and stakeholder visibility

  • Monitor IT systems using observability and monitoring tools (including ThousandEyes) for performance, reliability, availability, and security

  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks before they impact business operations

  • Apply scripting, automation, and AI-driven tooling to streamline operational processes, improve security enforcement, and increase efficiency

  • Collaborate with procurement on license management, usage optimization, renewals, and cost efficiency

  • Participate in on-call rotations and support critical incidents outside regular business hours when required

  • Lead 2–3 medium to high-complexity infrastructure and cloud projects annually, with defined scope, deliverables, and execution plans

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in global IT infrastructure and networking - switching, routing, Wi-Fi, VPNs, firewalls

  • Proven experience with enterprise security platforms: Palo Alto, Prisma Access, Meraki, or similar

  • Strong experience with SaaS ecosystems: Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, Intune, Jamf

  • Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure: AWS, GCP, and/or Azure

  • Experience with monitoring and network performance tools - ThousandEyes is a strong plus

  • Scripting ability in Python or similar, with comfort using automation and AI-assisted tooling to improve operational workflows

  • Experience with backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity systems

  • Ability to independently analyze complex infrastructure and network issues, devise solutions, and implement changes without compromising system stability

  • Strong judgment on when to escalate - and how to communicate clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Comfortable managing multiple initiatives in parallel while maintaining high operational standards

Nice to Have

  • Experience with ZTNA/SASE architectures

  • Familiarity with zero-trust network access design and implementation

  • Experience in a high-growth global SaaS environment

  • Exposure to AI-powered IT workflows or automation platforms (e.g., n8n, Workato)

Who You Are

You're reliable, calm under pressure, and solution-oriented when things break. You take ownership of outcomes - not just tasks - and you care about the long-term health of the systems you touch. You communicate clearly, document consistently, and bring a security-first mindset to everything you do.

You're curious about what AI tools can do for infrastructure operations, and you're already finding ways to use them — or excited to start.

What monday.com can offer you:
