IT Project Manager (Director Level) Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager (Director Level) to lead and drive the successful delivery of complex technology initiatives across multiple teams and business functions. This role partners closely with Product, Program, Engineering, and Business leaders to implement modern delivery practices, manage execution risks, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational objectives.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project and program management, stakeholder engagement, delivery governance, and Agile/iterative methodologies within large-scale enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities Planning & Coordination
- Define project scope, objectives, milestones, and delivery roadmaps aligned with business and technology goals.
- Manage one or more complex projects, including cross-functional and enterprise-wide initiatives.
- Partner with business, product, and technology stakeholders to develop project plans, release schedules, and resource strategies.
- Identify and manage project dependencies, risks, constraints, and mitigation plans.
- Maintain project documentation and ensure accurate status reporting and communication across stakeholders.
- Establish governance processes to support successful project execution.
Execution & Delivery Management
- Lead planning, execution, and delivery activities across multiple projects and workstreams.
- Facilitate prioritization discussions and coordinate project activities to meet business objectives.
- Monitor project progress and provide visibility into delivery health using key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Drive accountability for project outcomes, timeline adherence, quality standards, and business value realization.
- Coordinate release planning and deployment readiness activities.
- Escalate risks, issues, and blockers proactively while driving timely resolution.
- Manage communication plans for project stakeholders, leadership teams, and impacted business groups.
Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence
- Leverage delivery metrics and historical data to improve project predictability and execution efficiency.
- Optimize project workflows, resource allocation, and delivery processes.
- Promote continuous improvement initiatives and best practices across teams.
- Identify opportunities to enhance project governance, reporting, and delivery frameworks.
- Drive adoption of modern project delivery methodologies and operational excellence practices.
Technology & Quality Governance
- Ensure adherence to established project management and delivery standards.
- Oversee release management processes and ensure readiness across project teams.
- Monitor project quality, technical debt considerations, incident management impacts, and change management processes.
- Partner with technical leadership to ensure scalable and sustainable delivery practices.
Leadership & Team Development
- Provide leadership, direction, and coaching to project teams.
- Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Support team development through mentoring, feedback, and professional growth opportunities.
- Build strong relationships across business and technology organizations.
- Facilitate decision-making and consensus-building among diverse stakeholder groups.
Required Skills & Qualifications Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 8-10 years of experience in IT Project Management, Program Management, or Technology Delivery roles.
- Experience managing enterprise-scale technology initiatives and cross-functional teams.
- Proven success delivering complex projects in large organizational environments.
- Experience working in Agile, Hybrid, or traditional project delivery environments.

Compensation, Benefits and Duration
Minimum Compensation: USD 37,000
Maximum Compensation: USD 132,000
Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role.
