Lead Oracle Fusion Costing Consultant (Contract Manufacturing & Cost Accounting)1Key Responsibilities
  • Process Consulting & Solution Architecture

    • Lead business process re-engineering and fit-gap analysis for cost accounting flows, establishing best practices across direct, indirect, and outsourced manufacturing operations.

    • Architect end-to-end costing strategies in Oracle Cloud Cost Management, tailored for Toll Manufacturing, Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs), Turnkey Manufacturing, and 3PL/4PL networks.

    • Advise corporate finance and operations leaders on cost element design, standard vs. actual cost methods, material overhead absorption, variance analysis, and intercompany markup structures.

  • Oracle Fusion Cloud Configuration & Design

    • Design and configure Oracle Cost Management, Subledger Accounting (SLA), Inventory Management, and Manufacturing modules as they interface with Cost Accounting.

    • Establish cost organizations, cost books (Primary, Secondary, and Tax), cost elements, valuation structures, and overhead allocation rules.

    • Configure accounting setups for outsourced workflows: consigned inventory, supplier-provided components, contract manufacturing service fees, tolling fees, and return-to-vendor (RTV) adjustments.

    • Setup multi-currency cost accounting, transfer pricing, and intercompany margin eliminations for global supply chains.

  • Integration, Reporting & Financial Reconciliation

    • Define functional requirements for integrations between Oracle Cloud Costing, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Third-Party Logistics (3PLs), and external CMO portals.

    • Build cost accounting reporting strategies using OTBI, Financial Reporting Web Studio, and BI Publisher for gross margin analysis, work-in-process (WIP) valuation, scrap analysis, and cost-of-goods-sold (COGS) reconciliations.

    • Oversee data conversion for item costs, WIP balances, and historical cost layers during cutover, ensuring 100% reconciliation with legacy general ledgers.

Accounting Expertise: Strong hands-on background in Cost Accounting (7+ years in corporate finance/cost accounting roles prior to or alongside consulting).

Contract Mfg Experience: Direct experience modeling cost flows for Outsourced / Contract Manufacturing environments (e.g., component issuing to CMOs, assembly service fees, tolling, supplier-consigned inventory).

Oracle Fusion Depth: 8+ years total Oracle ERP experience with 3+ years leading Oracle Fusion Cost Management Cloud implementations.

Consulting Mindset: Proven track record in top-tier process consulting: facilitating executive workshops, mapping AS-IS vs. TO-BE processes, and managing change across finance and operations teams.

Functional Modules: Deep expertise in Oracle Fusion Cost Management, SLA, Inventory, Manufacturing, and General Ledger integration points.
